********* Darren came back minutes later with two glasses of watermelon cocktail and handed her one.. She shook her head.. "I don't take in watermelon". "But the pineapple flavours are finished". "Well then I'm fine". "No... I need to go get you something... You sure you don't want watermelon?". She shakes her head... ******** "Hey man!!" Frederick walks into the kitchen to find a young man taking the last glass of pineapple cocktail... "Can I have that?". "But this is the last one". Frederick smiles and brings out several wads of notes from his pocket and places it on the kitchen cabinet... The young man's eyes widened as he saw the fresh notes of money.. "So much money?". "It could be all yours if you do me a tiny favour". "Sure, sure..." he answers hurriedly. "Okay ermm...." He pauses and grabs a bottle of gin and pours it into the glass of juice..... He takes a teaspoon from the spoon rack and mixes it... "Go outside. You will spot a pretty dark lady wearing a bright purple dress. Give this to her". "But you have added a lot of alcohol to the cocktail.. What if..". He trails off when he sees Frederick bring out more money from his pocket and adds it to the one he had placed on the cabinet.. "Okay okay..

. Done!" The young man grins as he collects the money into the pocket and picks up the cocktail and heads out.. "You will soon be mine my melanin!! Soon!!" Frederick grins.. ********** He steps out and spots a dark lady in purple dress... But she wasn't alone... "Well what's my problem?" He shrugs and walks over to them.. "Here miss" he says stretching out the tray... Emerald stops talking and faces him... "Oh see, Miss Arthur... Here's a pineapple cocktail. thank you" Darren says and gives the glass to her... He watched her sip it,slowly.. "So miss Arthur about the issue" he sips his drink. "Not to worry Mr Adams.. I have e-mailed a copy of the CCTV footage to you... It's an evidence that will prove that your client is innocent... Strangely enough, the security personnel told me not to touch that part of the footage but I took a sneak peak and found what I was looking for.. You can check it out when you get home". "Wow!" He clearly wasn't expecting that. "I will come by your office and give you the files" she takes another sip... She shut her eyes and opened them.. Why was she feeling so strange? Come to think of it... The cocktail tasted, different... It tasted a bit sour.. She shook her head as she took another sip... "Are you okay?". "I feel strange... I feel dizzy.." She mutters... "I can take you home if you want" he offers but she wasn't listening... She gulped down more juice and shook her head.. "Are you alright?... Wait hold on.." Darren takes the glass from her and takes it to his nose.. He inhales it and frowns... "This smells like...." He pauses and takes a sip "Alcohol!! My God!!" He exclaims.. "Miss Arthur give me your address. I need to take you home before the alcohol starts taking effect" he says dragging her up but it was already too late... She had never taken in alcohol so it was quite easy to get drunk on the first few sips... He watched on as Emerald began to spew rubbish and dance to songs only she could hear... Darren brings out his phone and dials a number.... "Hello Steven? I need your help... Oh.." He laughs when he hears a lady moaning in the background.. He could already guess what was happening.. "There's a party going on for you and you are busily screwing your girl?... Okay fine... Miss Arthur is drunk and I can't leave her here. She might wander off... My apartment? But I haven't used it in years? Okay... Will call u later bye" He hungs up and turns to her.. "Let's go" he tells her and she obediently follows him to his car while humming.... ***** "Fasten your seat belt" he tells her but she continued ranting and shaking her head to a music only she could hear.. He couldn't help but laugh.. She looked really cute in her drunken state... He moved over to her side and fastened the seatbelt..

. He pulled back a little and his lips touched her cheeks.. Their faces were so close now and Emerald had stopped singing as she gazed into his eyes... "You're so beautiful Miss Arthur. So beautiful" Darren breathes staring into her beautiful big eyes... ****** Frederick stares at his wrist watch.. Emerald would probably be drunk by now? Should he go out now and take her? Or wait? No.. He couldn't wait to have her. Maybe he should go out for her now.. A/N Okay,so I didn't want Steven's house burning.. At least not yet.. Looks like Frederick's plan only pushed Emerald into Darren's arms.
