While Felix drove the car, none talked. Mercy was staring outside the window. Her eyes were watery and her face was sorrowful. Felix was heart broken, he had expected his father to at least show a little respect but he embarrassed him with a broad open mouth. Now he don't know how to console his heart broken lover and he is not willing to let her go.

"Felix , i think we should break up. Your father is right in all he said"

Mercy says when they had gotten into the house.

"you are not serious." he blurted "i am serious. Lets break up for every one's benefit and happiness. I don't want to bring conflict into your family"

"i am not going to break up with you. We have not even started , and you are talking about ending it "

he raised his voice.

"that's the more reason why we need to break up now, it is easier because its still tender."

mercy raised her voice too. "my love for you is never tender. Mercy my love for you is great and huge. It is bigger than the mountain and deeper than the ocean. i love you so much because you are now my life. If you leave me , i will definitely die" Felix confessed as he reached for her hand. "please lets do this

. Your family matters" she said more in a pleading voice. Her tears increased each moment that passes. Felix wiped away the tears in her eyes with his thumb "no Mercy , don't mind what my father said. All that matters is you. I am the one to marry you. I am the one you will live with not my family."

"that won't guarantee your happiness. Your happiness is important" she pointed out again. Felix pulled her nearer to himself and replied with eyes glaring intently into hers. "how will you expect me to be happy if you leave me. Don't you know you are my happiness taking you away from me is like taking the sun away from my life" he caresses her cheek but she removed his hand and pulled away from him. "can't you see your family don't love me. They don't even want me. Having me beside you is totally putting the reputation of your family at stake" she said almost shouting. "let reputation go to Hell! All that matters is that i love you and i want to be with you for the rest of my life" he shouted. "that's impossible!" "its possible!" he persisted, he went close to her and held her again and she struggled to loose from him. "i am not gonna let you go! I will fight to have you by my side! You are mine! You can't stop me from loving you! Not even my family" he continued screaming until a warm slap met his chin and he jerked his hands off her that instant and staggered back. "this is it! There is no difference between you and Frank Morgan. Always insisting and insisting. All men are the same!!!" Mercy's voice followed the slap she gave him. Felix was in deep pain. He only heard the sound the slap produced but the pain he felt came from what she said. Her words pierced his heart like a dagger making him range with anger. "i am not equivalent with frank! His different and i am different! He is after your body while you know very well i require your love. Remember , he doesn't want to marry you but here i am doing every thing i can to make you mine. Can't you see that?" he lamented then turned around and left the house angrily. He needs some thing to set his anger upon! Mercy threw her self on the floor and cried aloud when he has zoomed off with his car. She knew very well that all she said was totally against her wish. She really love him like her life but she has to let go so that peace will reign. If she insist on staying with him, then his father will make boast that she is after his money which is the wrong description of her perception for him. "you shouldn't have been so rude to him" Hugo said to her as he tried helping her to the sofa. "i am afraid. My Boss is very angry right now and when ever he is this angry, he goes crazy" he added.

Or have he gotten into danger?" she kept murmuring each time she dialed him without a response.
