HARRY'S POV ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Harry took an abrupt look at the wall clock hanging on the wall of his sitting room. It was still an hour remaining yet to meet up with mirabell at the park just as she demanded the previous night. His mind drifted from the magazine he has with him and settled with thinking. Two days ago was frantically joyous for him. He presented his building plan to the board and directors of the firm in their meeting. The minister of education was also present as he made clear illustration on his plan. His work was accepted and appreciated by every one especially the minister who asserted that labourers should start work immediately according to the plans he had enunciated. as if that wasn't enough, the Ceo of the institution placed him incharge of the project while he kept surveillance of the affair. Harry was so Happy beyond measures , he made a mental note to call Mirabell and tell her of his success. On his way out of his office, he met kalista who insisted on celebrating his success with him. At least a bottle of French wine in a bar will suffice. He analogized with her since he left her with an impending promise the other day. At the Bar, Kalista kept talking and talking while he kept staring at her.

''you look too cute to be single. Have you a lover'' she had purposely asked during her loquacious expressions

he explicated with out a waste of time. Some how some what, she felt inwardly disappointed. Not that she don't know he has a lover but at the level of his enthusiasm and passion to be with her. How ever, she was strong to cover her feeling. She went ahead by telling him how she had a boy friend and how he ended up breaking her heart into pieces. Harry was like asking why, but she asserts its a secret she won't feel comfortable to disclose in an open place unless she whispers it into his ears. Nonchalantly , Harry gave her the opportunity to whisper what ever it is into his ear but instead, he got a kiss on the lips. 

"what's the meaning of this kalista?''

he asked disentagling his lips from hers. He looked obviously puzzled at what she did and so demanded explanation.

''i can't really explain , harry. I don't know what came over me. I am so so sorry.''

she kept repeating her apology.

''ok. But please don't try it next time'' he sounded off. She nodded in analogy . silence crept in and things turned out to be awkward between them till they embark on their separate ways home. . Harry kept trying Mirabell's number when he got home but it weren't going. The next day, Mirabell called and the sound of her voice states it clear that all weren't ok. He had wanted to break his success news to her but registering the tune of her voice, he reserved it for next time. He wondered what had gone wrong, why she sounded so cold and sad and why she asked him a series of suspicious questions. Before she ended the call, she demanded he should meet her at the park next day and that's exactly where he had planned on heading to. seems time is delaying him. He really can't wait to see her beautiful face which sends tingles to his body. He also can't wait to get answers from her. He stood up from the couch and went straight into his room. Standing before the wardrobe, he began to wonder if she had seen him with kalista. Of course she didn't and if she fortunately did, he can always explain. There is nothing between them and nothing can ever come out between them. He took out his cloths and began to dress up.

not long, he found him self at their usual spot at the park where she was was seated always looking like an angel. He walked close to her and engaged her in a sweet hug. the hug however had crucial features. Mirabell need it so much and a hug from the man she loves with the whole of her heart eased her off her problem.

"Harrison, did you love me?"

mirabell requested from Harry about thirty minutes later. He held her hands tightly and stared passionately into her eyes as he replied.

"i love you so much mirabell. I love you with all my heart. I can never love any one else the way i love you"

he adjusted himself closer to her and continued.

"you are the only person i am going to spend my life with" he says.

"are you sure?"

she asked doubtfully.

"i swear with my life"

he crossed his heart.

"then you are going to prove it"

she blurted.

"how , i don't get you. You are making me scared"

he said with surprise written all over his face.

"yesterday, i found out that i am betrothed to Frank Morgan and they had come already to seek my hands in marriage."

she explained.

"what!!!!"

he exclaimed.

"yes and i don't want to marry him. I don't even want to marry any one else apart from you."

she say as tears trickled down her cheek.. Her right hand sank into her purse and came out with a little red box.

. Harry found his heart melting away at her tears..those tears made him crazy. By the reason of those tears, he could be willing to do any thing. Any thing at all just to clean those tears. Nevertheless, he watched in awe as she knelt on a knee before him opening the red box which contained a pure golden ring.

"i know this might sound stupid and crazy but i am willing to pay the prize just to be with you harry. I am willing to forsake my family just like my brother did for love. I am willing to forfeit my comfort zone So Don't think of the the financial challenges , don't think of What people may say. Don't think of any form of impediment but only think of the both of us. Will you marry me?"

she requested with tears.
