Adeline.

"Aren't you gonna come down stairs? You haven't had anything to eat today" Aaron says and I shake my head, snuggling deeper into the pillow.

"Don't make me carry you, Levi said use force of necessary" He says breezily and I just snuggle in deeper.

"For the love of God woman,! The man will be back in two days, starving yourself just because you are missing him isn't gonna cut it"

I raise my head a little.

"It's just being two days?"

He nods, my head falls back.. Felt like a century to me.

"Addie, I'm the sick one here, the one who should be taken care of, I shouldn't be going through this stress just because you and Levi fell in love"

He says with a grumble and I raise my head.

"You don't know how I feel" I say passionately and he rolls his eyes..

"I'm sure I don't, I just broke up with my girlfriend, another point for me to be taken care of"

I know I'm kinda acting like a spoilt brat but getting this amount of attention on me is intoxicating.

All my life no one had cared enough(Pamela being an exception) to ask me if I wanted to eat or bath or even if I wanted a hug.

And here I am, a celebrity going out of his way to make me comfortable, forgive me if I want to milk this unroll it runs dry.

I lift my body slowly.

"What did you prepare?"

"Sandwich?" he says testily. I pout and cross my hand shaking my head.

"No"

"Fine, I will order Chinese only if you bath, you stink"

"I don't"

"You do"

"You can't eat Chinese, it's not good for you"

"Well, I'm going to order fried rice and lemon chicken too, I'm gonna go all out in eating what's not good for me"

"I'm going to tell Levi"

"Yes, Yes, your boyfriend can do nothing, he wishes he could eat it too."

He says jokingly before walking towards the bed and reaching a hand for me.

I grab on.

"Go, bath, food will be here in 15"

I nod and he let's me go. 

We sit on the ground in the media room pigging out on Chinese food and soda. 

I swear to God I tried to talk him out of eating it, this much junk food can't be good for his recuperation. 

"I need more sauce" He says and I push his knee with my toe. 

"It's in the kitchen" 

"Get it" He says.. 

"You get it" I reply. 

"I'm too full to stand up from here, help a brother in distress, uh?" 

I roll my eyes and I drop my own carton of noodles as I make my way to the kitchen. 

I don't get it, if he is full why does he need more sauce? I step into the kitchen and I see that the door leading to the pool is opened. 

I walk to it and close it, I turn to the counter just as I hear the front door close. 

I freeze. 

Is Levi back early? I grab the sauce carton and fly to the dining, I stop when I see Aaron hugging someone. 

"Avery mavery, you abandoned me, your son" He mocks sobs and the woman laughs. 

She laughs like a goddess, it doesn't take me a second to know that the woman standing before me is Levi's mother. 

I would be a dunce if I didn't. 

I begin to step back, quietly.

If she sees me everything will be shot to hell, she can't see me. 

They can't find out like this, I have to tell Levi first before he finds out I'm lying. 

In my distress I turn too fast and run into the wall. 

"Oww..." I cry out, my head hurts from hitting the wall. 

The laughter dies and I know that their attention is now on me, thank you universe

So much for hiding before getting caught. 

"Who are you?" Avery asks and I know I'm doomed. 

"Oh didn't you know...?" Aaron asks her. 

"Know what?" She asks confused.

"She's the one, Levi's..." 

"House keeper.. Pleased to meet you ma'am" I say turning and making sure my hair is over my face. 

"Well.. I didn't know that Levi hired an housekeeper" She says, trying to see my face through the curtain of my hair. 

"Well, it's strange isn't it" Aaron says jokingly and I can see the look he is casting towards me.

"Save me, please" I mouth to him when Avery turn to look at him, he frowns before nodding a little. 

"Well.."Avery says turning to Aaron, effectively dismissing me.".....i didn't know that Levi went to London, tell him to come see me when he returns, we have much to talk about "

Aaron nods, and begins to lead Avery away. 

That was close. 

I gather my hair up into a bun as I hear the front door close and a car revs. 

I sit on the couch, twisting my hand around my skirt in a nervous gesture when he returns. 

I lift my eyes to his. 

"I didn't know you were our housekeeper" He says lightly, bending to gather the stack of leftover Chinese food. 

"I can explain" I say, tears threatening to come. 

"I'm sure you can" He says coldly even as he lifts cold eyes to me. 

Sh*t. 

I think I screwed up. 

AN. 

Today is, Well, today. 

It's a good day and I woke up feeling great. 

Will be going back to school soon, gift me with positive thoughts and energy.
