So a big thank you to everyone who voted for me on the facebook poll, I just kept chuckling to myself while eating from a large bowl of indomie. Lol. Anyways, you guys rock like seriously, thanks so much…plenty kisses to you all…..

NARRATOR’S POV

Fate works how fate works. Well, that wasn’t a mistake, fate works how fate works. You can see this with what is happening right now at The Randy’s Hospital.

The hospital was built in a way that the private ward is different from the general. Ofcourse you should know what will be in the private ward…

On the private ward, the atmosphere was completely different. The air had a perfumed scent and the seats were plush. Every surface was dustless. The nurses were unhurried and they moved with a serene purposefulness from room to room on their rounds. There were vases of flowers and beautiful framed pieces of art on the walls. In the corridor was a water dispenser and in most rooms could be heard the noise of a television.

In one of these wards was Anika sitting beside her son’s bed. Little Freddie had several wires passed into his skin and there was a big tube attached to his nose for oxygen. His eyes were closed.

You could tell that she hasn’t had any sleep for two days since they have been here. she was curled tight in her seat, her only movement was the trembling of her limbs and salty tears rolling down her cheeks. There she stayed, unaware of the passing day. She was about to lose the only thing that mattered to her…if Freddie dies, she would just kill herself..no doubt about that.

The doctor said her blood and Tommy’s blood were no match to perform the surgery but they were doing everything they could.

. Tommy had been out since morning, she had no idea where, all that mattered to her was that Freddie must not die….

Similarly, in another ward which happened to be beside the ward that little Freddie was admitted, a young lady stood. Tension grew in her face and limbs, her mind replaying the last event that happened before the accident. She swallowed and swallowed until she could swallow no more.

She took a look at Vincent again for the one thousandth time and then scribbled something down in her note. There was no changes yet and she has done all she could.

She really hoped Doctor Randy would come soon else she might just lose her mind. The doctor had told her to go home and let him handle it but she was a doctor too atleast to some extent . she had taken care of him before so what was wrong this time.

“You have grown too fond of the patient Lisa. You are not thinking clearly this time, you need to go home and let me handle things here! he is in a coma! You need to go home and be fine and pray that he gets better!”

Doctor had told her before someone called him to ask if he was around in his office….

Even if he opens his eyes, what would she tell him? that she had known who he was all this while but that she wasn’t sure? God knows she was doing everything she could for his safety even though some were for her own selfish reasons but she wanted him to be okay at least.

She sighed, shifted the chair to the window side and sat down, starring outside…..

Similarly, the mother moved her seat the the window side, looking out….there was one thing in her mind…”Fred, if you are really dead please do not take your son from me too…but if you are not dead please God bring him back to me safely…..”

VINCENT

He felt the panic begin inside him like a cluster of spark plugs in his head. Several thoughts were accelerating in his head…in his brain…he was creeping in a total blackness….there was a light deep down as if at the end of the tunnel he was trapped in …should he go towards the light? Should he not?

He was on the floor in a foetal position. It was like being trapped in a TV and seeing several programmes displaying all around you…this time..he was seeing himself…his last death…how he had died…..he could see everything..how he was burned limb to limb…it was terrifying….he was trembling and he could still fell the hurt all over his body…it was like getting burned all over again….

He shut his eyes..he needed to be out of this place….he needed to leave this place……he had to scream with all his mouth…he tried to but …..there was no sound….

Lisa was facing the window and praying in her mind….she hoped her father would come soon, she was beginning to lose her mind….but maybe if she hadn’t closed her eyes, maybe,,,,just maybe if she had turned to take another look at Vincent…maybe she could have noticed his finger was moving slowly and weightlessly…..

So I can’t stop but say this….i guess we have two kinds of people reading this, those that are actually rooting for ANika and Vincent(Vinnika) coming together and those for Lisa and Vincent(Vinlis). So which are you? A vinlis or Vinnika, comment with reason, this will make my night lol. So , Vince is in a coma and his son needs a blood transfusion…well….we can only pray for him right….?
