Can I give love a chance again?

As days keep passing,

I can’t stop feeling the pain

I thought I’ve gotten over you,

But I just can’t stop saying your name,

The heartbreak remains the same.

Love cannot be seen but can be felt,

Was I stupid for telling you how I felt?

With you around I had a peaceful life,

Your voice and smile now make me cringe,

Are you now happy without me?

Oh, if tis is how love is then I don’t need it no more,

Kicked off as friends but I wanted more,

I never knew what I was seeking for,

But now my eyes are opened,

And now my heart is broken,

My life is badly worn.

Tears have been rolling down my cheeks,

I thought I had found my chick,

But love has said no to me,
