Friendship

The definition of a real friend is not in what they do for you,

but in what you mean to them.

In friendship, the presence of love is important

And love is free.

Love doesn't expect anything in return

Love gives because love is free.

So a friend who expects a reward is a phony

A friend who puts a price on friendship is cheap

A friend who makes the friendship into a business deal,

Well, he's more of a businessman than a friend.

Now, don't get me wrong,

Having a friend is nice

But there's no such thing as a bad friend

Either he or she is a friend or not.

Friendship is two-sided

Friendship requires mutual respect

Friendship doesn't lead astray

Friendship understands

Friendship accommodates

Friendship supports

Friendship isn't hard

Friendship is sacred

Friendship is connection.

And Friendship shouldn't give you reason to stay up all night and write about what friendship should be and what it's not.
