Heroic Divergence

I didn't tell them that we found happiness apart.... 

That our paths were meant to cross and not to remain. 

That the journey of finding ourselves took us different destinations -

That ours was a story of fate against destiny,  aligning themselves in opposite directions thus the sojourn that took us afar off..

That our cards on the table showed heart but commitment was far from our reach as our goals were dreams apart..

That deciding to casualize our feelings to feed our ambitions was a mutual consent We unanimously took and it led us different directions. 

Home is where the heart is but I found a shade in you not shelter, I guess we were two wondering souls striving to find our feet and make a name... Unfortunately our both names was never a combination for one.

Our puzzles gained points apart,
We were lovers in absentia, we celebrated every achievement but we never celebrated love,  sometimes I wish we had just given us a chance, other times I feel blessed to have been able to fly above my aimed heights with the wings you gave me. 

I love you my unrequited love, thanks for letting me know I can still love without being caged. You once told me that Beauty is in the discovery of one's self and that I should not fear failure but be terrified of regret...

I'd never regret if we didn't make it to the Alter for I found myself in the traces of your ambition...
