When We Were

We made love everyone's business,
They did it with so much easiness,
We made them show their last tooth,
For in it they were made less uncouth,
Climbing a mountain was no burden,
For one's baggage was everyone's laden,
Life was easy when we were,
So how will it be that we aren't?
Things change with a sharper edge,
But memories we made never age,
Because you were yesterday,
And i keep leaving on that day.
Call me weak,
Cause i choose not to tick,
When you ask me to move on,
With someone who doesn't turn my wheels on.
Waooh! I love this poem. More inspiration, Dorsila
