Dance With Me - Episode 35

Adams rushed out of the car and all the way to the front door. He pushed the door open.

“Rita!” He shouted as he stormed towards his bedroom, he realized the shower was running and she was probably taking a shower.

He banged on the bathroom door with force.

“Rita, get out of there now!”

“Baby, chill! I will be there soon.” Rita said sweetly. Adams was furious, he realized she had brought back the same bag he had thrown out that night, he found her scattered cloths on the bed and he bundled them up and threw them in the bag.

Seconds later, Rita came out of the bathroom, stark naked with water dripping from her body.

“Hey baby, missed me?”

Adams was filled with rage as he realized she was trying to seduce him again, instead, he grabbed a blanket from the bed and flung it over her, then he carried her...
“You are hurting me. Stop! Adams!” She struggled but he never released her until he threw her out of the door and then he went back to pick her bag and threw that at her too.

“Listen baby, please, I am sorry, I made a terrible mistake, I should never have left you.” She pleaded.

“What are you even doing back here? Isn’t Adrian spraying you with money every money and every night? No one needs your shady ass here

“Adrian is an asshole, I realized you are the only one for me,  He cheated on me so many time and I regret ever leaving you.”

Adams laughed, “you both are bunch of cheats...”

She stood up and rushed to him but he pushed her way.

“Adams, my contract has been cancelled, I don’t have anyone, please help me. I regret everything. I will come back to House 24, I will be your star, I will do anything.”

“I am so better off without you. If you ever  come back here, again or come near my club, I swear, I will kill you, you whore!” He said, slammed his door, locked it and got into his car, ignoring her pleas. Seconds later, he was driving away.

Back at the club, Omega, Angy, Betty and Candy were sitting together at the counter while Marcy and Jenny were cleaning up.

“So she just attacked you like that?” Candy asked.

“Yes, she did. I was surprised, I couldn’t...” Angy stopped, unable to go on.

“You should know that there is nothing going on between him and Jenny, this is all my fault.” Candy blurted.

“Your fault?” Angy asked, looking up from where she sat. She was now well dressed as she got some clothes from the changing room.

“How is it your fault?” Angy asked again.

“You remember how I kept pushing Jenny to go for him?”

“Yea.”

“That was what happened.”

Angy sighed, “I don’t know, I am just tired Candy.”

“Look, we all know that Rita is a son of a bitch and she is a slut. She would do anything to get him back, I read that she lost her contract and Adrian kicked her butt to the curbs, so this is why she is back to mess things up for you two.” Betty explained.

“The thing is, I don’t know if I haven’t made a mistake, by you know, getting vulnerable with him.” Angy explained.

“What does your heart tell you?” Candy asked.

“My heart is on a strike right now,” Angy explained.

“Don’t make this too hard on yourself, you need to trust your guts and listen to your heart,” Omega said to her.

 “Omega, I am surprised,” Angy replied and he chuckled.

“I like you Angy and I must have done some selfish things but the truth is you and Adams belong together, I saw it from that first night you came here for a job. You have a connection that I get jealous of and I don’t want to interfere with. I am happy when you are happy, that is what friends do.”

Angy smiled. "Thank you Omega.”

While this was going on, Adams stepped in. As their eyes met, her stomach did a double flip, damn this man! He would always make her feel this way.

Adams walked towards her while the rest of the crew excused themselves. As he got closer to her.

“I understand how everything seemed, I understand she made you doubt us, I know she made you doubt yourself if you could ever be good enough for me. Being the kind of person you are, I know you must be feeling so bad and I know you might want to quit right now, but....don’t please. I got rid of Rita, she will never bother us again and Jenny, she told me something about her family and I thought she needed a hug at that time. I am so sorry for everything but it is not what you think.

Angy sighed and got up. She was really exhausted. “I am so tired Adams, do you think we got into a relationship too fast? I mean, it’s not even a month yet and...”

Adams stood up, fear in his eyes, “what are you saying?”

Angy sighed, “maybe we should be friends first, maybe we need to...

Adams stood up, he couldn’t believe his ears.

“You know when I met you my heart went out to you because something told me that you were not what you seemed.  I gave you a chance and I’ve been patient with you because I knew there was another side to you. But now I am thinking you are nothing but a spoiled child.”

“Child?” she asks.  “I’ve been through a lot –“

“Who hasn’t?  We all have a story.  I have nothing been anything but decent and supportive to you and for you to dismiss me like this –“

“Look Adams, I think this is for the best okay? I made up my mind.”

“So that was it? All the emotions, everything, just down the drain? Nothing happened for God’s sake, why can’t you believe me?” He shouted in frustration.

“I believe you okay? All this just made me really tired and ....”

Before she could finish, Adams rushed to her, pulled her closer and brought his lips down to hers.

The Kiss was rough, intense and passionate, even though she fought it, she couldn’t resist it long enough....

Finally, he released her and they bought tried to catch their breath together. Quickly, he grabbed her hand and placed it on his chest.

“This is what you  do to me.” He whispered and placed his hand on her chest, slightly above her cleavages, “and I know you feel the same way too, so are you really sure you are tired and you don’t want to give this a chance?

“I love you so much Angy, do you hear that? My heart dances to the rhythm of your heart, you take my breath away every time and a thousand Rita or Jenny can replace that.”

Angy’s heart melted, “I love you too.” She replied and they both smiled before hugging each other.

“Oh my God!” Candy said, holding her breath, where they were all standing, watching her.

“I swear if any man kisses me like that, I am marrying him the next day,” Betty said.

“I don’t understand what is happening, I thought Candy said he doesn’t have a girlfriend,” Jenny said to Marcy.

“Yea, he didn’t, he has a lover.” She replied.

“Can I see you for a second?”

Marcy looked up to see Collins beside her, she was surprised.

“Yes Collins.”

“I’m willing to forgive you and assume you didn’t mean all what you said. So, are you in this relationship or out?”

Marcy smiled, “are you giving me an ultimatum?”

“Yea, you are damn right.” Collins replied.

“Well, then,” Marcy said, getting closer to him and putting her arms around his neck to bring his head closer to hers, “I am in.” She said before kissing him fully on the lips.

Betty sighed, “Oh my God! Too much kissing in this place is making me miss my baby, Omega, please can you take I and Candy home now?”

Omega laughed and picked up his bag.

“Candy, you ready?”

“Sure.” Candy replied, dabbing a handkerchief to her her face. “ I have never been this emotional. This is the best night ever.” She said as they walked out of the club, “not only did we pay our debt, but everyone is going to live happily ever after. Guys, I think we should dance to this.”

“Collins, hit the button!” shouted Candy.

As DJ Collins hit the button, everyone grabbed their partner…Collins with Marcy, Candy and Omega, Betty and Jenny and finally Angy with Adams as they all locked arms to the song…
