Grey and Ariel continue talking, and laughing about random things,

Ariel was really happy that they were both comfortable in each others presence,

she noticed that sometimes Grey will internationally brushed his legs against her's,

She definitely wasn't complaining, because she needs it too, but she would have actually prefer their skin to touch

At least this is better than none, she whispered to herself with a smile,

Did you hear what I just said? Grey asked looking at at Ariel questionably

What? Ariel said, looking at Grey

What did you say, sorry I was distracted Ariel said

Why are you smiling? Grey asked

Ariel shook her head, and chuckle softly, it's nothing she finally said still smiling

Grey raised his brows at her

Really? He said

Don't do that, Ariel laughed softly

What? Grey asked a little confused

"Raising your brows"

"Why"

Because I find it cute, when you do that, Ariel said with a smile

You find that action cute, or you find me cute, Grey asked teasing Ariel a bit

Ariel blushed and averted her gaze from Grey, which made Grey smiled

So what did you ask? Ariel said

Its not important, Grey said

Ariel glanced at her phone and saw it was almost lunch time,

I will go help my mom out in the kitchen, Ariel said standing up

Grey nodded his head as he watched Ariel leave the room

I definitely like her, he said at aloud as he rested his head on the headboard, and closed his eyes with a beautiful smile playing on his lips

Ariel got downstairs and join her mother in the kitchen

Hey, Elena said softly to her daughter as she continue doing what she was doing

Hi, Ariel replied cheerfully

Silence stretched between the mother and daughter as they prepare lunch,

Elena occasionally glanced at her daughter and every time she look at her daughter there was always a smile in her lips

Okay, do you want to talk about what put you in this good mood? Or do I say "who" Elena added with a smile

I don't know what you are talking about, Ariel said as she continue chopping the onion

Yes you do, Elena insist

Where have you been? Elena asked

"Upstairs", Ariel said casually without sparing a look at her mother

With Grey I suppose, Elena asked with raised brow, making Ariel remember when Grey did same thing, her smile widen when she pictured Grey's face

See, Elena said pulling Ariel out of her thought

You are glowing, she added

You were with him, right? Elena asked

Ariel nodded her head

Elena did not questioned her daughter again, whatever that happen upstairs between them must be good, she said to herself as she continue with what she was doing

An hour later, lunch was served, and the entirely family eat in silence,

When they were done, Ariel took the dishes to the kitchen,

Let me help, Grey's voice startle Ariel a little

"Sorry" Grey said quickly

it's fine, Ariel said

Can I help? Grey asked making Ariel to nod her head

Anna and Elena watched their children from the living room with a smile on their face

When both Ariel and Grey finished washing the dishes, they both entered the living room

Anna and Elena turned their faces and pretend as if they were not watching them, so did the rest of the family because they were equally watching them instead of the show on the television

Grey decided to go outside for a while, he stood outside and glance at around, he took a deep breath, this place is so comforting than the demon zone, he whispered

He wrapped his hand around himself, and slighted Michael standing at the other side

Grey has noticed, the Angel was not the talking type and he always seem lost in thought whenever he see's him.

Grey sigh as he averted his eyes from the Angel and look else where,

he heard the front door clicked opened, he turned to see the person coming out

It was his mother

Hey son, Anna said as she wrapped her hand around her body

It's cold outside, she murmured,

Grey glanced at his mother, its not that cold, I'm even enjoying it he added

I know you don't feel cool that much, but I do Anna said quietly

I know mom, why did dad even strip you off your powers? Grey asked

It's not important Grey, Anna said

So what happened between you and Ariel

You are avoiding the question again mom, Grey pointed out

I told you its not important, Anna said slightly raising her voice

Why are you getting all worked up about it then, Grey said

You are not listening to me Grey I don't want to talk about it, Anna remained adamant

You always don't want to talk about it, Grey raised his voice

Grey stopped this arguement right now, Anna shouted at him

Grey just sigh and walked pass his mother he saw the way Ariel and her family look at him, but that did not stop him as he made his way upstairs

Ariel and her family has heard their raised voice,

Ariel was feeling very uncomfortable, because she knows Grey is not settled,

Go meet him, Elena urged her daughter, Ariel wasted no time in getting up as she made her way upstairs

Grey's door was locked, Ariel took a deep breath before she knock softly on the door

I don't want to talk, Grey's voice rang through the door softly

I know, Ariel said, just let me in she added

Grey sigh softly as he drag his body from the bed,

he clicked the door opened allowing Ariel in as he went back to the bed

Ariel stood by the doorway for a minute before she made her way to the bed

She sat close to Grey, who was resting his head on the headboard,

immediately she sat down, Grey rest his head on Ariel's shoulder,

Ariel's entire body relaxed as she hum softly,

Grey body relaxed too, as he closed his eyes and drifted off

Ariel watched Grey sleep, she made no attempt to move,

she used the opportunity to study the features of Grey's face, he has thick eyebrow which were neately trim

Her eyes glanced at at Grey's lips, he had full lips, "totally kissable" Ariel whispered

She smiled softly to herself,

What is totally kissable, Grey murmured as he opened his eyes and straighten himself

Ariel's cheek instantly filled with colours, she averted her eyes from Grey

I thought you were asleep, Ariel said

I was, but I heard what you said, Grey murmured looking at Ariel

Ariel just adverted her eye's without answering Grey

They both sat in silence for a while before Ariel spoke,

Do you want to talk about what happened? Ariel asked softly

Grey sigh, and Ariel could see it was something Grey don't want to talk about

It's okay if you don't want to talk about it, Ariel said quickly still observing the expression on Grey's face

Just give me a minute, Grey said

Take all the time you need, Ariel murmured, I'm not going anywhere

Grey nodded, when he was feeling relaxed he spoked

I don't know why my mother is refusing to talk to me, I feel like she is hiding something from me,

in the demon's zone, they say we are different, I have tried so many times to ask my mother why we were different, but she always look for a way to avoid the question

Grey sigh, I don't know why she does not want to talk to me

Ariel look at the sad expression on Grey's face

Don't get yourself worked up Grey, she will definitely tell, Ariel added

"When" Grey murmured

"Soon" Ariel replied

Grey looked at Ariel and for a split second his eyes glance to her lips, but Ariel did not miss Grey's eyes

Grey leaned forward a little bit, giving room for Ariel to back off if she wanted but Ariel leaned forward instead, but before the lips connected they were disturbed

Grey....

Both Ariel and Grey sprung up quickly at the sound Anna's voice

Oh, so sorry, I will come back later, Anna said making an attempt to leave

Don't worry about that, Ariel said, I was just leaving she said as she shot a glance at Grey before she left

Anna moved over to the bed and sat next to her son

Grey, she called softly, but when Grey decide to ignore her, she rest her hand on his shoulder

I'm sorry about what happened earlier on, she said

I don't like when we argue, she continued

You don't tell me things and its getting really frustrating, Grey said

I know son, but I will tell you soon, I promise Anna added

Grey nooded his head, I'm sorry too for raising my voice too

Its okay son, Anna said
