Falling For Innocence - Episode 24

Jake:

"Come out Jake. I know you are out there" my dad says and my heart rate

pick up to an impossible rate. What do i do? If my phone was on i

could have called the police a long time ago. My dad must have someone

in the building who must have alerted him to my presence.

"Come on Jake. You know i hate disobedience son" he says and my skin

crawl. This monster is not my father! I remain still praying to God in

heaven that a miracle that would save Hannah and i would happen fast.

"You want to do it this way then fine." I hear him say before I hear

Hannah scream. My God he is hurting her. I can't look to see what's

exactly he is doing to make her scream in so much pain.

"I give you five seconds to come out or i'll blow her pretty head off

her neck" he says and I hear a gun crack. No no no

"1" What do i do?

"2" He wouldn't do it. He is just trying to scare me

"3" Maybe he would

"4" I can't just rush in there like that, it would get us both killed.

"5. Your choice son"he says before i show myself.

"stop! You win. Am here. So please drop the gun" I say

"I already said five son" the bastard says then release the trigger.

"no!" Hannah and I scream but hannah's scream die off as she slump with

her eyes open.

"sh*t you killed her! What the heck! I came out! This is too much!

Sh*t sh*t sh*t!"i rush to Hannah and shake her even though i know its

pointless. The proximity of the gun was enough to kill her instantly.

"Hannah? Hannah come on, open your eyes lets go home. Daisy is waiting

for you. Get up please. Please for f**k sake please. How am i going to

look at our daughter in the face if i don't bring you home? Hannah

please.. No God no." i sob out and hug her lifeless body. Everywhere is

silent and i wonder how the bastard feels after doing this. I lift my

head to see him grinning. Gosh where did my mom find this disgusting

swine.

"You killed her" I say silently and he nods.

"I always keep my promise son. This is your fault. I told you not to

let me get to five but you did. Her blood is now on your head" he says

and i see red. I don't even know what to feel as guilt and anger

battle inside me. Anger wins as my eyes clock  hannah's pistol lying a

few metres away. I stand up and walk to where its lying. My dad just

watch me in amusement as i pick it up.

"Bravo son. Do you know how proud I would be if you can pull that

trigger on me? Hell, i would die happy, knowing i created another me.

They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree so can you prove it

to me by pulling that trigger?" he walks boldly to stand in front of me

then grab the hand holding the gun. He raise my hand up and place the

gun against his temple.

"This close should get the job done" he says. My hands are like butter.

I can't even hold the gun right. I don't want to be like him but if i

have to, i would. I jerk his hands off mine and point the gun to his

chest.

"goodbye dad" i say ready to pull the trigger.

"Oh before you pull that trigger i should probably tell you Sarah is

on her way here. A little  bird told me about her identity and i had

to get to know her. I felt ecstatic to find out she lives with you and

that the both of you feel something for each other" he ask and my eyes

fly up to his.

"Sarah is innocent. You have to leave her out of all this. Here take

the gun. Take my life too but please dont get Sarah involved in your

vendetta with me" i sob out as i drop the gun on the floor and knee in

front of him.

"This isn't about any vendetta. Sarah's mother lied to me about

sarah's existence that's the only reason she has been alive. Now that

i know the truth, she has to die now"

"You knew sarah's mother? How?"

"well she is my adopted niece. My brother and his wife were so full of

life until they adopted her and their life ended in a car accident.

She was in the car but she didn't have a scratch on her. My brother

was wraped around the little witch just to protect her. He died trying

to protect her and i vowed to make her life hell." He says looking lost

in memory lane.

"I forced her into prostitution and made her suffer. I was so

satisfied at making her life hell until your mom found out about it.

She divorced me because of the bitch! Your mother threatened to report

me to the police if i dont leave without coming back. As If that

wasn't enough, amelia escaped from under my clutch and got married. I

was able to destroy her marriage but she ran away again! I was without

money so i continued in sex trafficking in a much wider range. She

made me what i am today and Now that i have her daughter, i would be

able to get my payback."

"Wait how are you sure that Sarah is her daughter?" i ask

"like i said, a little bird told me. Most of the girls i trafficked

started pulling out and going into hiding so i investigated and found

out someone was helping them. So i planted someone among them." he says

at the same time as a young girl walk out.

"Jake meet joy. My little bird or should i say bug. I even had to beat

her up to make it look convincing. The man amelia uses to get my girls

away from me fell for it and even gave her shelter in his house. That

is how i found out amelia has a daughter and that she is Sarah" he says

then walk to the lady and kiss her. She looks like a teenager. How did

my father get her to do all this for him?

"baby, dont worry I'll get your brother out of prison when all this is

done. You have done your part, so I'll do mine." he tells her then kiss

her again. I turn my face away from the disgusting scene. Sarah's

mother whom my P.I couldn't find a trace of turns out to be my dad's

niece. Now Sarah is in trouble.

"dad please Sarah is innocent in all this. Tell me what i have to do

to make you leave her out of this?" i ask and he smile.

"enough of the chitchat. What i need you to do now is shut up and

sleep while i get amelia here. It might takes days because i heard she

is out of the country. Don't worry, I'll make sure to bring you and

your precious Sarah together before i end both your lives" he says

before he jam the butt of his gun to the back of my head and I lose

consciousness.
