**** Hank Anderson pours himself a glass of red wine and takes it to his mouth, sipping it, relishing in it's sweet taste.

His cell phone suddenly dings again and he groans.

Whoever was disturbing him better have important news.

He steps away from his bar and walks out towards the adjoining balcony sipping more wine.

Finding his phone,he picks it up and turns it on.

There was a message.

From Madeleine.

What did she want now? Lazily, Hank taps on the message icon to open it and immediately he read it's contents, his eyes suddenly becomes a mask of anger and fury.

To say he was furious was an understatement.

He was so furious he didn't realise he was clenching the wine glass rather hard and with a loud thud, the glass shatters between his fingers, wine spilling onto the floor.

A few broken pieces piercing into his Palm as he clenched his fists tighter making blood seep through his fingers and dripping onto the floor..

"Jack!!!!"

He bellows and within a second, Jack comes running into the room.

"Get four other men with you and bring me Madeleine dead or alive. I want her!"

He instructs fuming.

"Right away boss"

Jack bows and exits.

"B*tch!"

He thunders smashing the phone to the floor.

HAILEY'S POV

"Let her go Tess."

I tell Theresa who reluctantly let's go off Madeleine.

"If I were you Maddy, I'd be running away to hide on some far away island by now

I say with a straight face and with teary eyes, Madeline gets off the floor and runs out the door faster than the speed of lightening.. Ha! I grin.

Feels good to be in charge.

"Pray tell me Hailey, what message did you send?"

Theresa walks closer, curiosity written boldly on her forehead.

"Patience sweetie. Curiosity kills the cat"

I answer and set myself on the edge of the bed.

"Oh cummon. I'm your partner in crime aren't I?"

She pouts and I chuckle.

"And my friend too"

I say and she smiles.

I smile back.. I turn my attention to Jason and caress his handsome face. 

I want him to open his eyes and look at me with those dark sultry eyes. I want him to smile at me.

If only.. "You are in love with my brother aren't you?"

Tess's sudden question startles me and I turn to find her watching me.

"I.. I don't know. I mean what is love? I do not know"

I bite my lip.

Do I love him? Do I?

"I won't push you Hailey. You'll just realise you have feelings for Jason sooner or later. And I'll be more than happy to have you as a sister in law"

she says.

"And I'll be more than happy to have you as a wife"

a dull, weak but deep voice says and I snap my head so fast It almost broke.. Smiling so warmly at me was Jason. 

I gasp..

"You're awake. He's awake! Jason!"

I scream for joy and fling myself at him.

Theresa runs out probably to get the doctor.

Jason chuckles as his arms go around my back.

"Such a nicevway to greet a sick person"

he comments and I immediately pull away from him.

"D..did I hurt you? I'm sorry. I was carried away. I'm so sorry..."

"Relax. Just help me sit up please. My back aches a lot"

He winces and I quickly help him up proping two pillows behind him.

"You okay now? No...Jason"

I move to stop him but he's already taken the oxygen mask off..

"I wanted to kiss you"

he says and my breath hitches..

"May I?"

He asks.

May he? Should he?. Do i want him to? F*ck yes! I lean in to him and our lips brush lightly.

I feel his tongue brush over my lips and i open up for him.

He captures my lips and kisses me with endearing need.

He kisses me with as much intensity as I do him.

His kisses drive me crazy.

They make my heartbeat stop yet beat at the same time.

His tongues dives past my lips into mouth and I groan.

I kiss him harder, loving how he tastes to sweet yet masculine.

"I love you Jason"

I blurt out.. Wait what?.

"What.. Did you just say?"

He asks pulling away to peer into my face.

"Jason.. I..."

"Repeat it. Please"

he begs cupping my face, hope evident in his beautiful eyes.

I was about to respond when the door burst open.

"Dude!!"

Alex screams like a girl. I hear Jason cuss at the interruption and I bite back a smile. Alex punches Jason's shoulder and he winces.

"Ouch! What was that for you idiot!"

"Just to make sure you're still my Jason"

he grins

"I'm not your Jason fool. For your information I like women."

"I like women too"

he replies and I notice him wink at Theresa who was just stepping into the room and she blushes.

Hmm interesting.

"Step aside please" 

a doctor steps in and I move away from the bed and let him do his work.

After some minutes, he turns off the oxygen supply and turns to face us.

"He's normal now but we'll Still have to keep him here for a day more or two just to be sure. He's still pretty wounded"

"Oh cummon Frank. I'm perfectly fine"

Jason rolls his eyes.

"Oh shut up you idiot. I'm the doctor here and I'm not discharging you till I'm hundred percent sure. You just regained consciousness so don't start getting annoying now"

"Why does everyone call me an idiot"

Jason grumbles as the doctor exits.

"Daddy!!!"

The tiny voice squeals running towards the bed.

"Hey teddybear"

Jason grins as Olivia tries desperately to climb the bed.

After many unsuccessfull attempts, she trudges to the other side of the bed where I'm standing.

"Mama carry me!"

She pouts stretching both her arms towards me giving me the puppy eyes look.

"Anything for my beautiful baby"

I grin and bend to pick her.

"Sh*t! Sh*t!"

I hear Alex cuss and I turn to find him staring at the door.

I do same and I gasp.

Standing in the doorway was Jason's father, a deep scowl on his face as he stares at me like he was ready to murder me.. Oh Lord.

He didn't hear anything did he?

"In less than two days, you managed to upgrade yourself from aunty Hailey to mama. Impressive"

he says with a straight face.

Oh no.

"Dad listen.."

Jason begins but he's cut off when he suddenly winces clutching his head in pain.

"Are you okay Jason?"

I ask worriedly.

"Get your hands off my son"

Mr Michaels sneers at me.

"Sir this is a misunderstanding"

I try to explain but he lifts his hand shutting me up.

"Don't speak when I'm talking"

"Father"

Tess says

"You shut up young Lady!"

He growls at her and turns to face me,eyeing me disgustingly.

"You scumbag. I knew from the moment my son brought you home that you're nothing but a scum. A gold digger. This Innocent face of yours doesn't move me.

Mr Michaels reaches into his pocket, pulls out a few cedi notes and throws the money into my face.

"Take it and leave!"

"With all due respect sir. Her name is Olivia. Not 'brat'. And secondly, Olivia calls me mother because I am her mother. Thirdly, I'm not after your property or money. Not everyone is interested in your money"

I tell him and his features harden instantly, his jaw clenching and unclenching.

"How dare you talk to me like that! How dare you? I am Gregory Michaels and no one talks back at me woman!!"

He thunders taking a step towards me.

"Dad... Please"

Jason groans

"Mr Michaels if only you'll let me explain. The truth is..."

"Get out"

I stare in shock.

"What?"

"I said out and put that brat down"

"Do not call her a brat!!!!! She has a f*cking name godammit!! Olivia is her damn name!!"

I scream.

This man is nothing like Jason.

He's just an emotionless, grumpy, stingy, hot headed and hard hearted man.

"You dare to use cuss words at me? You.."

He trails off and lifts his hand to slap me.

Everything happened so fast.

One second, Jason was holding his head and groaning In pain, and the next, I see him spring off the bed in an instant, ripping the drip off his arm harshly and then stand in front of me protectively.

In a flash, Jason grabs his father's hand midair just before his palm could make contact with my cheeks to slap me.

"Don't you f*cking make the mistake of laying a f*cking finger on my woman Gregory Michaels!! Else I'll f*cking forget who you are!"
