Ichabod - Episode 19

LET'S GIVE IT UP FOR VERONICA AND HER SUPPORTERS LOLS...I DEY FEAR UNNA PEOPLE O...;LOL

**

“Yea. I just remembered I found something in my room when I woke up this morning, I don’t know how it got there. Did you come to my room last night? Is this yours?”

He swallowed hard, unable to concentrate on his driving...

“Idiot, just tell her a lie!” Odin snarled in his head.

“Urm, yea, Ah...” He inhaled deeply, lying was not his thing really. While he stuttered, Harmony’s phone rang. Thank Goodness!  He couldn’t believe how sweaty he was within how many minutes.

“You are so dumb! Seriously! You are her bodyguard! You could say you went to her room to check up on her when you heard noises in the room. Then you forgot it there. Ish! Do I need to do everything for you?”

“Shut up Odin! It was your clumsiness that caused it in the first place!”

“Yea? Bite me?”

“Um, excuse me, Ichabod, are you talking to someone?” Harmony asked, looking at him in the mirror from the back seat.

Odin chuckled, “caught in the act!”

“No Harmony, I was just...actually the bottle is mine, I forgot it in your room last night. I thought I heard something so I came to check...”

Harmony frowned.  “You came into my room while I was sleeping?”

“Yea, though I heard noised but all was fine...can I have the bottle please?” He asked politely.

“Sure.” Harmony replied and handed it back to him,
“take a right turn,” she said before returning to her call.

“You are so lucky that I only forgot it in her room, I should have gotten rid of it...” Odin grunted.

“Shut up,” Ichabod whispered to himself, clearing his throat at the same time so that Harmony wouldn’t think her bodyguard has run mad.

“Action!”

Shouted the director who startled Ichabod where he sat at a corner, watching what was happening in front of him

. Even though the man had been shouting for hours, Ichabod had still not gotten used to it.

Harmony came in from another room. She was dressed in a tight fitting skirt and shirt while talking to a man Ichabod had seen at the movie premiere.  She was really beautiful...and that took him to a memory of many years ago....

It was a late night in the woods. Everything around them was pitch black. The breeze was harsh and cold, penetrating into the cloak they were all wearing and into their naked skin, Ichab and his men were camped around the fire to get warmth before continuing their journey the following morning. One of his men who had gone in search of food in the neighboring town.

“Esmen is back...” Monty had said as they heard footsteps coming behind them and with the way he was moving, Ichab imagined, his man had brought some heavy animal that would be roasted until he came closer and the men realized he was carrying a woman...whose legs were covered in blood.....

“She is talented isn’t she?” Said a voice close to him, interrupting his thoughts.  Turning around he saw Vivian beside him. She has been helping with the whole setting and movement and face painting.

“Oh, yea. She is.” He replied, clearing his throat.

“That’s why she is the best.” Vivian said with a smile.

“So, how does it feel like, to be the bodyguard of a superstar?”

Ichabod frowned and added a smile, “I don’t know yet. I guess pretty much the same as being the bestfriend to one.”

Vivian smiled. “Smart ass. I don’t think so actually. You know I’m even curious about you. How come we have never seen you before and all of a sudden, you are here. Why do I feel like you are here on a mission?”

For a while Ichabod just maintained that glassy smile on his lips. What was the lady doing? Was he a kind of a witch as well?

All of a sudden, Vivian burst into laughter, “I’m just kidding dude. Oh my God! You should look at your face!” She said before standing up. “I like you Icky. You are strange but I like you.”She said before walking away.

He was taking a quick deep breath when Harmony came to sit beside him, in her hand was a bottle of water.

“Are you okay Ichabod?”

He smiled with a nod.

“I hope you don’t mind, we will be going to a party tonight. It’s a way of celebrating my movie’s nomination.”

He frowned.

. “A party?”

“Yea, you know, women, booze!”

He frowned and she looked surprised. “You don’t like women?”

“Oh..well, I don’t know I guess I do.”

Harmony chuckled, “hold on, are you saying you are gay or bisexual?”

“Oh of course not. I..well. I’m neither gay nor bisexual. ” He finally replied, trying not to betray himself.

Harmony gave him a suspicious look but he returned it with a smile...

“So, you like women right?” She asked, giving him that knowing look and he was finding it difficult to look at her...

“Wait, is there a woman you love and you are not telling me? You have that secretive look. Who is she?” She asked, smiling suspiciously.

“I don’t know what you are talking about Harmony.” He replied, half-smiling.

“There it is. There is a woman. You know I am so good at reading people.” She said, laughing, “I’m sure we will talk about it. There are lots of things I need to ask you Ichabod, like the last time, you said you know a lot about double personalities, and then you said you were in my room last night that you thought someone was in and...”

“Oh, about that...there was no one and....”

“The thing is, Ichabod.” Haromy said, looking at him sternly. “I think someone comes to my room everynight and that is why I hired you. I need to catch that person!”

SO I WILL BE POSTING TOMORROW AS WELL, THIS WEEKEND  IS FOR US....SO NOW WHAT SHOULD HE DO O?
