Reginah couldn't find an answer to why her life was always complicated. Brad's mother always reminding her of their deal and also went a extra mile to hire someone to spy on her.

A reason that made her push Brad further. She  can't lie it has being easy, if her pillow cases could talk, bet you me they would have written a novel by now. Tears weren't enough to clear the pain in her heart, she needed something strong. Death maybe.

She was busy making cereals at the counter when Maggie called," What do you mean Brad tried to kill himself?" Reginah screamed not sure she heard her right.

"What hospital???"
"Aga Khan, I will be there."
Reginah  was so tensed that she dropped her phone on the counter, took the house keys and left.

On she  had her pyjamas and flip flops. Its obvious she didn't have time to change, sh-t it you would have thought she was the needed surgeon and he was in the f-cking ICU. 

Only God knew how fast she got to that hospital. Saying she ran like a mad person to his ward was an understatement.

"Brad are you okay?" She cried out running towards his bed. She was crazy, they hadn't talked for a month and here she was crying beside him.

"Thanks God, you alright

. I don't know what I would have done if something happened to you. Why would you do that??" Reginah asked in a scolding tone enfolding him in a hug. 

He wasn't excited to see her, he was shocked. He pulled her back giving her a cold stare, "What are you doing here?"
Reginah was more than maddened by his question. Brad was disgusted to see her and couldn't help it. The thought of her and Jayson dating made him lipped curled and his nostrils flared.

"I care about you Brad, when I heard you almost killed yourself. I panicked and realised how much you mean to me." Reginah unnoticeably confessed placing her  hand on his .

Brad laughed foolishly, "I was in an accident, I didn't wanna kill myself. Get facts right girl." Brad pulled his hand away like he had touched poop.

"It doesn't matter as long as you are safe." Reginah stated rubbing his feet. For the moment she didn't realize the room had other people other than his mum. Thanks heavens. Mike, Malcolm, Ben and another guy who looked familiar. They all sent her sympathetic looks.

"You look familiar?" a slender brown sexy lady questioned.
"Where have I seen you?" she added tapping her side of the head. She wore a leather maxi dress with a red leather jacket, don't forget the nude stilettos on those perfect long legs. Royalty, her curly hair well made falling on her shoulders. Her fingernails painted red, not the cheap one that chip out in a day. She looked rich and spoilt.

"I know I have seen you in Jayson's gallery, trust me he looked at your pictures all the time." She innocently yelped not knowing what sh-t she got Reginah into.

"Riri, what's up with Jayson again??? What is she talking about???." Mary asked.

"Brad is not what you think," Reginah stammered  ignoring Mary.  She rubbed his cheek with a genuine smile on her face.

His next words tore her insides apart,
"You dead to me, my chocolate girl can never lie to me. I don't know who you are." He murmured to her with clenched jaws, "Answer Mary, she needs to know what's between you and Jayson?"

He gave her a sour look. Isabella walked in and came directly to his bed, lying beside him and intertwining their hands. He finally smiled, yes he did.

Reginah stood up and walked away from the bed.
"Reginah only family and close friends are allowed. Get out!!!" Brad sneered.
"But..."
"Get out!!!! traitor. Someone get her out of here. Get out Reginah Mumbi.." Brad thundered and she walked out feeling like she had been inserted a rubber ball full of jealousy and pain under the skin and fastened with invisible stitches.

"Reginah, is Brad okay?" Jayson asked running towards her.
"Go f-cking ask your mama," Reginah replied walking past him. Then halted, turned and came back to where he was seated.

"You couldn't have deleted those pictures you fool?" Reginah huffed slapping him hard on the cheek.

"He found out the truth about us.

That explains why he was cold towards her. No trace of the vibrancy he once held.
"Did you tell him I don't love you?" Reginah confirmed.
"I tried after he punched me but he walked out the next thing I heard was  that he was in a road accident." He stammered scratching his head roughly, "Brad can really punch."

"I only love Brad, whatever happens to you I don't care. You can rot in hell heartbreaker." Reginah ranted putting up a hurt mocking face.

Reginah was to walk away when he held her hand, "Reginah, I still care alot and I didn't mean for things to turn this way." 

"Next time you touch me or utter rubbish. You will get more than a punch.." Tears rolling down her cheeks  while the events played vividly in her mind. She could believe Brad told her to leave his room. Did he hate her that much???

"Riri, are you okay???" Mike asked.
"What's with you and Jayson??" Ben asked.
"Not know guys, I am not in the mood to talk.." She walked away.

Reginah was in the bathroom crying when  felt an arm around her shoulder. At first she thought it was Brad, silly her he was bedridden for now.

"I will assume I didn't hear your conversation with Jayson." Maggie retorted.

"He left for good and now he is with that Isabelle." Reginah pronounced Isabelle with an Italian accent. 

"I will also ignore the drama, girl you crazy you came with your pyjamas again and to top it up flip-flops." Maggie's eyes widened as she made her turn around for a better viewing.

"I am crazy in love," Reginah confessed rinsing her face.
"I know and am here for you. We will get through this together." Maggie assured hugging her from behind, her head on her back.

"Guys you are here, I have been looking for you everywhere. Riri dear, you have alot of explanations to do.." Mary said taking Reginah's hand in hers.
"Not now Mary.."
"Let's go home, you had a rough day." Maggie stated and they walked  out of the hospital.
