Michael would occasionally glance at Jessie as he sat in the living room watching the movie on the screen 

He heard her chuckled a little when a funny scene was displayed in the movie, he turned his head to look at her and saw the wonderful smile  playing on her lips 

He averted his eye's from her with a smile on his lips, as he turned to look at the screen 

There is just something in me that wants to see that smile of hers again, Michael said to himself 

But why? He asked 

He mentally shook his head, as he could not arrive at any reasonable conclusion

Maybe it's because she seem uptight since she arrived 

Yes, that's why, Michael said concluding it in his head 

He later turn his full attention  to the movie he relaxed his back on the couch and enjoy the movie

 

When the movie ended Jessie returned to her room, she sat on the bed as her mind drifted to her sister 

A tear slip down her face, 

I can't believe I was careless about you 

I would have never had left you alone, its all my fault you got taking away 

I'm so sorry, Jessie whisper as more tears slip down her face 

She wipe her face and stood up from the bed she pace around the room before she finally stopped by the window

She saw Grey and Ariel standing outside and she remember when Grey's eyes flashed red 

I have never see anything like that before, is it something that is common with Angels when they are angry 

How will it look on Michael? 

I bet it will look good on him, Jessie said with a smile 

She shook her head 

You are so silly Jessie, she said as she went into the bathroom 

Michael was seated in the living room staring into space when Raguel approached him 

Hey, Raguel said as he sat down next to Michael

Hi, Michael replied with a smile

Raguel was quiet for sometime studying his friend which Michael notice 

What is it? Michael asked 

I wanted to.....

Forget it, Raguel muttered 

Spill it Raguel, Michael said turning to face his friend 

At the dinning table you ask Jessie to eat more,

why? 

She needs it, Michael simply said not wanting to tell Raguel the real reason behind it,

he knew Jessie will not really like people to know that under those clothes of hers that she is really underweight

Raguel looked at his friend he could tell he was telling him everything but he did not persuade him further 

Okay, Raguel finally said 

Michael was really grateful Raguel did not persuade him further because he knows Raguel could tell he was not saying everything 

 

He just could not bring himself to tell Raguel about Jessie,

He remember she was really uncomfortable when he saw her without those extra clothes on

He mentally sigh as he rested his back on the couch 

Jessie, he whispered a little 

Michael, Raguel called 

"Yes" 

Is anything troubling you? Raguel asked 

Michael wanted say "yes" 

"No", he finally said

I will be here when you want to talk, Raguel said clearly not buying Michael's word 

Okay, Michael said as he watched Raguel leave 

Michael stood up from the couch and made his way upstairs 

He was passing through the corridor and stop by jessie's door, he brought his hand  to knock on her door but he stop midway

He shoved his hand his in his pocket and walked away and made his way downstairs 

He head for the front door and saw Grey and Ariel standing outside holding hands 

He smiled softly at them 

Hey, Michael said as he moved closer to them 

Hi uncle Michael, Ariel said with a smile

How is your face Grey? Michael asked 

"Fine", Grey muttered 

He is still angry, Ariel said looking at Grey who has crossed his arms 

Really? Michael asked 

I'm not, Grey said bluntly 

Michael smiled at his bluntness

I can't really believe she actually punched me Grey finally said 

My face still hurts, I did not even know she had the strength to throw such a strong punch, Grey added 

Michael laugh and Ariel joined in the laughter 

It's not funny, Grey murmured 

I just underestimate her, Grey said 

Well she apologize to you, so I think it's best you let it go, Michael said 

Yes I will, Grey replied 

Ariel leaned down a planted a kiss on Grey's lips making Michael to avert his eyes 

I will go inside, Michael said 

We will join you, Ariel said pulling Grey towards the door 

Michael watched Ariel and Grey left for their room 

How will it feel to love somebody like that? 
Love? 

He shook his head and went upstairs he stopped at Jessie's door and this time he found the courage to knock on her door 

He waited patiently for Jessie to open the door 

Hey, Michael said softly 

Hi, Jessie replied 

Do you want something? Jessie asked 

Not really

I just wanted to check on you, Michael said 
How lame does that sound, Michael muttered to himself 

He look up to see Jessie watching him 

Do you want to come inside? Jessie asked 

Michael glanced at the corridor before he nodded his head 

Jessie shut the door behind him 

 

She look at Michael who standing nervously in the room 

I have a question to ask, Jessie said 
"Okay," 

Does all Angel's eye's flash red when they are angry? Jessie asked 

What, why do you ask that? Michael said looking at Jessie

Grey's eye's flashed red after I punched him he was clearly angry so I just assume it happens with Angel's 

But maybe not all, Jessie added 

I can remember when I punched that Angel outside he was angry but his eyes did not flash red, Jessie continue, she could not remember the Angels name 

His name is Samael Michael said 

And the answer is no, Michael said but before he could continue to explain Jessie cut him off 

I said it, Jessie said 

Does your eye's flashed red when you are angry? Jessie asked 

Jessie, Michael called softly getting her attention 

Angel's eyes does not flash red when they are angry, Michael said 

What are you saying? Jessie asked 

But I saw Grey's eyes, Jessie said 

Or did I not see clearly, Jessie inquired 

You did see clearly, Michael said but Grey is not an Angel, Michael said 

Then what is he? 

A "demon"

What! Jessie shouted 

Calm down Jessie, Michael demanded 

Don't tell me to calm down, Jessie muttered angrily

He is one of them, his kind took my sister, Jessie muttered as she head for the door 

Michael immediately blocked the door before Jessie made it outside 

Jessie sit down and I will explain everything,

I don't want to sit, I just want to go and question him and I'm sure he knows where my sister is,

Jessie said trying to open the door but Michael stood firmly not giving Jessie the room to pass

I can assure you that Grey does not know anything about the whereabout of your sister, Michael said

How can you be so sure? Jessie asked

I will explain everything just sit down, Michael said 

"Fine" Jessie muttered

Jessie sat down  on the bed and crossed her arms waiting for Michael's explanation

 

I thought Angel's have Angel soulmate so why is Grey,  Ariel's soulmate, Jessie asked 

Or is Ariel a demon, Jessie asked 

No, Ariel is not a demon, Michael said

They are both special, Michael continue

The bond they share has never been formed by anybody, it's a very strong bond, they were brought together for a reason, Michael added 

Grey is not just any demon, he is actually different from the rest demons, his mother is human, and she is also a "seer", Michael explained 

Jessie nodded her head in understanding

They both quiet for sometime before Michael spoke 

How are you holding up? Michael asked 

Jessie knows exactly what  Michael is asking about 

I don't know, Jessie said weakly 

I really miss her, she added 

Is your sister younger or older than you? Michael asked 

Younger, Jessie said 

How old is she? 

"Six" 

Michael was dumfounded he never expected Jessie sister to be that young

I promise my parents that I will take care of her but I failed, Jessie said trying her possible best not to tear up in front of Michael 

Its not your fault Jessie, Michael said 

Yes it is, Jessie argued 

Michael sigh softly as he reached to touch Jessie's hand 

 

 But Immediately he touch her hand he felt something stir deep inside of him which made him  drop her hands quickly as if it had burned him 

He looked at Jessie and he could tell she felt it too because Jessie was staring at him with wide eyes 

I should go, Michael whispered 

Yes, Jessie managed to reply 

Michael did not waste any second before he hurried out of the room.
