The Emerald Chase - Episode 34

 "Let me go!!! Argghh... No... Get out!! Leave!! Don't touch me!!"

She screams and struggles hoping Tonia would hear.

"Emerald? Why are you screaming?"

"Let me go Frederick.. Please.. No ...don't hurt me..please!!"

They hear... Darren's eyes grow dark with anger again..

"Frederick!!!! I swear to God!! You are dead!!"

He screams and rushes to his car.. The rest didn't need invitation to join him...

"Let go off me!!"

Emerald struggles but he grabs her firmer and crushes his lips with hers, kissing her forcefully.. She struggled against his firm body, trying to free herself but then she bites his lips until she tastes blood.. He groans and releases her..

"How dare you bite me huh,? I wanted this in peace but it seems like you want it the hard way"

He pushes her to the couch, pouces on her and begins to kiss her neck wildly..

"Stop Frederick please... Why won't you leave me in peace?"

"I searched for you for so long baby but you seemed to have disappeared.. I found you again but you got away.

he groans fumbling with the neck of her dress to rip it apart.

"I won't let you touch me this time. I was weak then but not today"

Emerald sinks her teeth into his shoulders and bites him till she draws out blood.

And when he groans in pain, she kicked his groin with all her strength.. He sank to the floor.. She got up and smashed his head with a flower vase nearby...

Immediately, she reaches for the door but stops when she feels his arms around her waist

"Too bad baby...unfortunately for you pain doesn't have any effect on . I've been in this martial arts since I was a teenager so you're no match for me princess"

he smiles and carries her.. He throws her over his shoulders and walks out to his car that was parked a distance away..... He dropped her at the backseat and made for the driver's seat when she began screaming out loud..

"Damn it!! Shut up!!"

He whispers but she continued screaming... Not wanting to call attention to himself, he hits the base of her neck and she goes limp, unconscious.... Frederick shut the door and walks over to his side and zooms off, smiling... Tonight's gonna be a good night! He whistled.

The three men alight and run towards the apartment to meet it empty... A broken vase on the floor, a destroyed cell phone near the couch and almost everything completely turned upside down...

"Emerald!!!!!"

Elvis calls out, searching all the rooms in the house but there was no sight of her....

"He took her.... He took my sister"

Elvis sobbed.

Steven opened his mouth to speak when they heard a knock.. Tonia rushed to the door to reveal a middle aged woman.. Elvis rolled his eyes.. She was probably here to gossip..

"How may I help you?"

He asks rather harshly

"Umm sorry for intruding but few minutes earlier, I heard a female voice screaming.. I came out to check where the sound was coming from but I didn't see anything. I turned to leave when I saw a young man entering his car and driving off"

"Did you see his face? Anything?"

"No.. But he was wearing a blue suit.. It looked quite expensive"

"ShIt!! He got her.. Frederick got her!!"

Darren yells

"Is there any problem?"

The woman inquires.

"Ermm no.. Thank you for the information"

Elvis watches her nod and walk away before slamming the door shut.. He sinks into the sofa, his head between his hands..

"How do we find her? How do we find them?"

Tonia speaks up.. Silence.... Darren snapped his fingers suddenly as if realising something..

"I know where he would have taken her.. Let's go"

he says and walks out as the rest follow quietly.

TWO HOURS LATER... Frederick sat at the edge of the bed caressing her sleeping face, smiling... He bent lower and kissed her temple. Just then a lady walked in.. She had no clothes on, except for a towel around her body and another towel wrapped around her head..

"Good evening sir"

"Hmm... What do you want Lisa?"

"A call just came through.. It's your dad"

"What does he want?"

"He said something about wanting you back at the family dinner because he wants to endorse you"

"Does it have to be now?"

He groans staring away from the unconscious form

"Yes sir... He made it clear"

"Alright.. Get me a syringe, and the anaesthetics.. Do we still have some left?"

"Yes Sir.. Be right back"

the Lady disappears and comes back with the things he asked for

"Place them on the counter and make sure to inject her with it.. I want her to still be unconscious till I get back"

"Sure sir.. I will just put on some clothes and do it"

she answers. Frederick sighs and turns to look at Emerald.. She moved..

"Damn!!"

He mutters and quickly reaches for the syringe, draws out liquid from the tiny bottle and injects her arm... Soon, she stopped moving and fell asleep again..

"That should keep you asleep till I get back..."

Frederick picks up his phone from the bed and dials a number.

"Hello Betty, yes... Tell Lisa not to do what I asked her... I've already done it.."

He hungs up and walks out....

Several minutes later, Lisa walks in now fully dressed..

. She goes to the counter and frowns..

"But where did the syringe go? I kept it here..hmmm"

she mutters and walks out, came back again with another syringe and bottle.. She draws out liquid from the tiny bottle into the syringe and injects the sleeping woman again. Done, she throws the syringe into a dustbin and walks out...

Darren ignores the traffic light that was blinking bright red and drives past the cars, speeding.

He was driving like a maniac and he didn't give a hoot.. He was going to get Emerald, safe and alive.

Sorry guys but I had to do this since we're nearing the end.. And so you get to tell me how you want Frederick's end to be like. I have a lot of options.. Life imprisonment, death by firing squad, death by poisoning, death by acid.. Or paralysis. Or suicide.. Or if you're kind enough like me,you can opt for his repentance. Which of these do you want?
