Elvis walks in and sees his sister crying her heart out.... He had been watching the second CD they had found in the bank when Emerald barged in crying hysterically...

"Why did you push him away melanin? I thought you said you loved him?"

"I do brother... I love him so much but I can't be with him..I can't"

she sobs hugging him.

"I thought you said you loved him.. Wasn't he the reason you fought with me?"

He cares-es her hair.

"I know and I'm sorry but I can't be with him.... His father is chief Benson Elvis"

Elvis gets up suddenly and stares at her in shock.

"Chief Benson? The minister?"

"Yes... And I saw him today brother. I saw Frederick.. The guy who rap-d me.... I...I saw him.. he's Darren's brother.. Do you get it now? I'm in love with the brother of the man who rap-d me!!"

"What??? You've got to be kidding me!!! That swine!!! I will rip him apart!!!"

Elvis screams and rushes out.

Emerald didn't bother to stop him, she couldn't care less..

Frederick watched from a distance as Elvis got out of the house and hailed a cab.. He had followed Darren discreetly when he was running after Emerald.

He smiled rubbing his jaw..

"Darren enough of the drinks please.."

Steven tries taking the bottle of wine away from him.

"Let me drown in my sorrows Steven... She... She never loved me... She... She called me daddy's pet!!!!"

Darren yells making Tonia cringe..

"That's not possible!!.. Emerald likes you.. She more than likes you Darren.. She told me so... Even in the way she talks about you it's evident"

Tonia defends her friend.

"Well guess she fooled you too... She said I was just a distraction...she fooled us!" He snapped..

As the driver drove past the headlights, Elvis frowns and changes his mind... He scrolls through his phone and dials Tonia's number.

Tonia stared at her cell phone and frowns, it was an unknown number.

"This is an unknown number"

she mutters Steven snatches the phone and answers the call

"Yes? Who are you? How did you get this number"

"Umm.. This is Elvis speaking. Emerald's brother.. I saved this number when she called Tonia with my phone once"

"Uhhh..okay... What do you want?.... Okay.... I will text you the address..sure.. " Steven hungs up.

"Who was it baby?"

Tonia inquires

"Someone..."

He replies and sends a message.

Several minutes later, Elvis was knocking on their door... He knocks for the second time and a man opens it...

"Elvis right?"

"Yes.. You?"

"Steven...Tonia's boyfriend.. Come in"

He nods and steps inside.

"Good evening"

He greets and Darren looks up to see him.. He frowns

"What do you want huh?"

"I just want to talk Darren... I just couldn't sit and watch a love that barely started end like this..."

Darren laughs gulping more wine

"Love? Naaa.. There was never love hmm?"

He slurred in his British accent.

"That's where you are wrong.. My sister loves you, so much so that she was willing to drop her quest for revenge"

Darren drops his glass and stares at him.

"Revenge?"

"Hmm but I will tell you later... I just came to tell you the truth... Look Darren, my sister loves you.. She's hurting more than you are right now.... All that she said to you are lies... You were not just a distraction in fact you were here Knight in shinning armor... Her flashlight in her darkest days... It has never been easy for us ever since our childhood days.. The truth is.."

He pauses and takes in a deep breath

"My sister was rap-d by your brother, Frederick.. He took away her innocence.. And that's why when she found out he was your brother, she run"

Tonia and Steven's mouth dropped open while Darren stared in utmost shock "Frederick rap-d her??"

"Yes."

"This can't be.. I swear I will kill that son of a b-tch!! He has crossed all limits this time.. I will kill him with my bloody hands!!"

Darren smashes the glass to the floor angrily and storms out... They all run after him..

"Stop Darren please!!! Don't turn yourself into a murderer please!! Stop!! You know it's impossible to think straight when you're angry"

Steven calls after him but he wasn't listening... He was already walking towards his car, his eyes bloodshot with anger and fury..

Emerald opens her eyes to a splitting headache... She gets up from the floor and blinks... She didn't realise she had fallen asleep while crying... Knock, knock!! The sound came again loudly... She hissed and picked up her phone.. She needed to talk to a friend... She dials Tonia's number and places the phone to her ear as she staggers to the living room.

"Emerald is calling!"

Tonia yells and it works because Darren suddenly stops and turns, the anger in his eyes diminishing.. Tonia answers and puts it on loudspeaker..

"Hello?"

"Hello Tonia... I need a friend to talk to.. Can you come over?"

She says weakly.

"Emerald are you okay? You sound sick"

"My headaches badly Tonia, but my heart hurts the more... I lost him Tonia.. I think he hates me now... He will never forgive me for what I said to him..

She cries... Darren rubs his chest and chokes... She loves him.. She does..

"Relax Emerald... Listen I'm on my way"

Silence..

"Emerald? Can you hear? Say something"

With the phone against her ear, she opens the door and to her surprise, she finds Frederick grinning at her... He pushes her back and steps in..

"Miss me?"

He asks and grabs her by the waist roughly, digging his nails into her skin as she cries out....

"Miss me?"

They hear through the loud speaker. They hear her scream. Darren's eyes grows dark with anger. Frederick had pushed his luck this time. He had touched Emerald, his Emerald.

"I'm so going to kill him!"

he bellows.

Tonia flinches.

She had never seen Darren so mad before.

He looked like he was going to murder someone.

"No. We are both going to kill him!"

Elvis grinds out.
