So all those comments both here and on facebook just got my adrenaline pumping….@Solomon Jerus, Rebecca Ezemuze, Jenny Ngozi, Mrs Yetunde Abimbola, Glo Kukua who dreamt about the story, lol, Karen Kutsuru….I hope you are all ready for this…to you all and to my princess Mandy , this episode is for you!

This was a nightmare. I couldn’t belive my ears …..

“You want to see Anika?” I asked again and he nodded eagerly. He looked so confused and desperate and he was beginning to pace again, scratching his head with his fingers.

I should have known all these would happen, shrek had told me to be prepared but…how come he was beginning to figure things out. I bit my lips! I shouldn’t have kissed him…Doctor Randy had told me that anything emotional could surge his memories….

I had to be sure….

“Are you saying that you remember all that happened to you?” I asked again, holding his hand to steady him and keep him in place.

He shook his head and took his tab..typing with more urgency than I have ever seen before…

“I MEAN THAT, ANIKA IS IN MY PAST! SOMEHOW, I WAS ABLE TO RECOGNISE HER! I AM NOT SURE YET! ALL I KNOW IS THAT SHE IS LIKE A MISSING PUZZLE TO EVERYTHING.”

I began to relax….

“It’s okay dear, we would go see her tomorrow but you need to calm down first. Its possible that your emotions are confusing you and you don’t really know what is going on and….”

He yanked his hands from me  angrily and typed again

“I am not crazy Lisa! Please take me to her!” Now he was kneeling down and looking at me with pleading eyes…

I needed to excuse myself…this is happening so fast….if I lose him now. I will lose him forever….we have still not figured out what caused his death in the first place and….

“You cannot trust your memories yet. You have to take things easy! You are not going to Anika! Not yet!” I snapped at him and quickly left for my room.

It was like my entire spirit was vibrating. I was so stressed out that my head was banging! What is this? How could this be? I have not even confirmed from Shrek, I wondered why the whole DNA result was taking so long..even though I knew what the result would be, I needed to confirm it. Shrek was supposed to bring it tonight but now I couldn’t wait again…

I heard the door bell rang but I knew Vincent would answer it…..

“Who is it?” I shouted from the room.

“It’s the mail boy.” The voice said from the living room.

“Is anyone there with you?” I asked again.

“Yes Madam. Mr Vincent is here. Should he do the signing.?” He asked

“Yes. ”

Then I picked my phone to dial Shreks number. Just then a message came in.

“Hi.

. Had to leave town. Lost my mother. Sent the DNA results with the rest of the documents as a mail. Will be delivered to your house today. Shrek.”

Suddenly, I rushed out of the room….in Vincent’s hands were the letters, he had opened them and was going through them….my heart sank….

“V,,vi…..” I stammered.

He didn’t look up. Not only was he holding the letters, all the files and reports that Shrek had worked on concerning him….the pictures when he had been burnt. Those of Anika and the boy which I had photocopied were all scattered on the table and on the floor as he frantically searched through all of them….

‘Vincent..please I can explain…” I began again, dreading to walk closer to him….the look he gave me sent shivers down my spine. He was holding the picture where Anika and some woman were carrying a baby boy…

The veins of his forehead was showing prominently, his eyes were blood-red and his adams apple were surging back and forth. His shirt was already soaked with his sweat. They were clinging so tightly to his boday and I felt as if he was going to explode with the way he was looking at me.

He was raising his index finger at me ….it was like he was trying all his effort to talk but the speech was not forthcoming so instead he shouted. “Arrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!” Then he took his tab and rammed it against the wall.

The tab clattered on the floor, the noise sending shurders through my being, I was afraid to behold his countenance……

He was storming out of the house and I followed….

“Please Vincent..wait…Vincent…”

He wasn’t listening, he was walking across the street and I shouted his name again.

He turned around, sending me another look and pointing at me…when he began to walk again…it was too late as a car ran him over….

I was shocked, covering my mouth with my hands....
