Dance With Me - Episode 8

Adams checked the time, it was some minutes to 1 and the crowd was still as many as if it was just starting. 

He was at the staircase, looking at everything that was happening below.

He loved the way she was carrying herself and making everyone happy. The three of them were really working their ass off tonight and together, but she was the light.

Everyone wanted a piece of her, they all wanted to talk to her and make her smile and she was making it easy for them.

The money that was entering the account was on a higher level tonight, it was like the sales of three days in a row that they were making this night and she was the reason. He was glad that he had made the right choice, he hoped Marcy would see this as well.

Suddenly, he started hearing ‘dance, dance, dance!” He frowned, then he realized that the crowd wanted her to dance for them. obviously they have seen her that night she danced.

Angy was confused, everyone had made a circle around her, and they kept clamoring for her to dance.

. She looked at her friends, who were laughing and encouraging her to.

“But Marcy said....” She said to them.

“Forget her, give them what they want.” Betty said behind her.

Angy was dumbfounded, somehow that moment, she looked up and that was when she saw Adams looking at her.  For a moment, looking at him gave her a desire to want to dance but if he had made the rule then she couldn’t. She kept watching him, hoping he would give her a go-ahead or something and it was a delight when he nodded to her, she smiled and with one hand, she pulled out the pin in her hair which came tumbling down her back and the crowd cheered

Then she started dancing while her friends passed two bowls around and people put in their money, by the time she finished, the bowls were almost filled and the floor roared with applause.

She packed her hair and looked up but Adams was gone, somehow she felt a bit disappointed.

“You did so well!” Betty said as she and Candy hugged her from behind but something tightened  in her stomach as she caught sight of Marcy looking at her, sending her a cold glare, she knew she was not pleased.

“I specifically told you that dancing is not allowed and you went ahead and do that! What is wrong with you new girl?” Marcy shouted at her.

They were the only ones left at the club now as all the customers have gone and Adams was not even with them.

“Look, I am sorry Marcy but, the crowd wanted me to and I had to...” Angy explained.

“No, no. Seems you don’t know how things work around here yet and I am not sure that you understand how important this business is to us...”

“But it is important to me too.”

“Marcy what is wrong with you? She did nothing wrong!” Betty snapped at her.

“Of course, what would you rather say, with the fact that you and Candy were the ones applauding and encouraging her to keep it up?”

“You did good babe, really good!” Omega said to Angy as he walked past the ladies.

“Thanks.” Angy said with a weak smile.

“We obey the rules here and if you keep breaking them, you are not going to last here.” Marcy continued and stopped as Adams came around.

“What is going on here?” Adams asked, surprised that there was a meeting he didn’t know about.
“Marcy is condemning Angy for dancing.” Candy retorted.

“Yes, because we have rules here which must not be broken.” Marcy emphasized. “Now, Adams, you need to straighten this girl up! She can’t keep breaking the rules. If she cant keep them, maybe she needs to go back to where she came from!”

Everyone was quiet as they waited for what the real boss would say.

Adams stepped forward, frowned and then turned to Angy who was looking at the floor.

“You did brilliantly Angy.” Adams said, taking everyone by surprise.“In fact, I think we should start a show business.” He said further and Betty screamed excitedly. Marcy on the other hand couldn’t believe her ears.

“Collins and Betty, please draw up a plan, Angy, work with them, all you need to do is to dance and remain as hot and as beautiful as you are tonight. Let us know what you will need. Tonight has been the best night in a while.”

“Yes!” The rest admitted, except Marcy.

“At around some minutes past 12, we will be starting a after-hour show for dancing, it will last till 4 in the morning. It will really help us. Good job guys!” Adams said, Angy please come with me.

Angy smiled and followed Adams to his office.

Marcy was quiet, she picked her bag and left while the rest ignored.
