"Get out"

Beelzebub barked at Grey who was still curl in a ball on the floor

Grey closed his eyes tight as he try to stand up, the pain was too much,

he finally manage to stand up with great difficulty and existed the house

 

He was looking so pained, his back was dripping blood, he manage to hold himself as he walk slowly back to his house

On his way going home, he saw one person he just doesn't want to see right now

"Josh"

Oh Grey look at you, josh said with a smirk as he laughed at him

Best when it comes to capturing Angel indeed, Josh said mockingly

Grey glared at josh, he was he so much pain that he could not say anything to josh,

he just wanted to go home and just lie on his bed, 

He tried to move pass josh, but josh grab his hand and shoved him hard against the wall

Grey yelped in pain, he could not retaliate, he just shut his eye's really tight 

But Grey being Grey will never let josh to have the upper hand

even though he could not use his strength, his mouth was available to use, even though he knows it will cause him more trouble

Don't be a coward " legimate son" 

Are you going to fight a man who is down? 

Grey asked as he opened his eyes a little to peep at josh, he wanted to see his reaction

Grey knows fully well that what he said can really make josh angry,

but he did not care he was already in pain, and he does not mind being in more pain if Josh decides to hit him

Of course josh wasted no time in hitting Grey very hard, and pushed him to the ground as he walked pass him

 

After a minute, Grey finally stood up from the ground and made his way home

Immediately he opened the door he saw his mother seated in the living room,

immediately her eyes connected with her son, she wasted no time as she rushed to his side

Anna was looking so pained all of a sudden, seeing her son in so much pain, brought pain to her,

she led him quickly to his bedroom, then she rushed into his bathroom to get the First Aid kit

Anna was shaking as tears stream down her face,  she  continue to tender to her sons wound,

she hates that her son always suffer in the hands of his uncle

 

Grey noticed the tears on his mothers face, he put his hand quickly on his mother's to get her attention, 

Anna slowly raised her head to look at her son 

Mom, I'm fine, 

Grey said trying to sound convincing, even though he was in serious pain, he does not want his mother to be worried about him

"No you are not"

Anna said shaking her head as more tears fell down her eyes 

"Look at you"

She said pointing at the fresh scars on his back, does any of this look fine to you she said shaking her head,

I know you are in pain even though you don't want to admit it she added 

Mom, seriously I'm fine, Grey said, the pain is not that much, he lied 

He was in serious pain but he never admit to that

 

Anna stopped was she was doing as she stare at her son deeply, without saying any word 

Grey looked at his mother in confusion, he wonder why his mother was staring at him like that 

Anna still remain quiet as she stare at her son, 

Grey was no longer comfortable with the silence so he decided to break the silence

Mom....

His word was cut off by his mothers words 

"Who is she"

Anna said quietly

Grey was shocked by his mother's word, he did not expect her to ask that,

he suspected that was the main reason his mother was looking at him 

Mom....

Grey began to say, but Anna shook her head, 

Just tell me,

she urged her son, she knew he was going to deny it before that's why she stopped him from speaking before 

"Please" she added

Grey sigh, he knows exactly what his mother was talking about, and he knows there was no use in denying it,

because he knows his mother has seen he shared his soul with another 

"She is an Angel"

He said quietly, as he waited for his mother's reaction

Anna's expression did not change at the mention of "An Angel"

She was just staring at her son with blank expression until she spoke

 

Have you connected the bond yet? Anna asked 

Grey was shocked to hear his mother's question he did not expect her to say that

I just told you my soulmate is an Angel and you are asking if I have connected the bond, Grey said raising his voice

I heard what you said son, Anna said quietly

"Have you" she asked again 

"No" Grey said

Your bond is really strong, I can see it, Anna mumbled 

Mom, I don't know what's wrong with you, Grey said as he try to stand up but the pain he was in made him fall back to the bed 

"Be careful" Anna warned 

After few minutes of silence between them, Anna broke the silence by saying what Grey never expected her to say 

You have to go be with her, Anna said as she look at her son 

You've got to be kidding me right now mom, Grey said shaking his head

Am in this pain, because of her, Grey said raising his voice, if she did not show up I would have capture an Angel, 

Grey knew he will regret the words he just said when he is calm, but right he does not seem to care

Anna look at her son 

You don't mean that she said observing her son's expression change a little, after saying what  he just said 

"Whatever"

Grey muttered as he averted his gaze from his mother 

Those creatures killed my father, and you want me to be with one, Grey said angrily

Don't you care about father? Grey asked 

You have to be with her, Anna said again  as she ignored her son's question 

"No" Grey said 

"I won't" he added as he crossed his hand like a stubborn child 

Grey started mumbling things, 

 I'm not  going to go to my soulmate, those creature killed my father, he said, if i see anyone of them i would killed them 

Anna got upset by her son's words about killing Angels, which made her raised her voice on her son to keep him quiet

 

Will you shut up and listen to me for once, Anna said raising her voice at her son,

Grey was shocked by his mother's outburst, he has never seen her this angry before, he just shut his mouth and listened to his mother 

You have to leave here, Anna said calmly after her outburst

No I don't Grey said 

I'm not leaving you here he added 

If anyone finds out you have a bond with an Angel, its never going to end well, Anna said 

I don't care, I'm just not leaving you here, Grey said stubbornly shaking his head

He can never think of leaving his mother here for any reason

I don't even want this soulmate bond, I will look for a way to remove it, Grey said trying to sound convincing, 

The word he said just now is killing him deep down, removing the bond with the Angel will leave him broken hearted

Anna did not buy in to what her son said, she knows its a lie but she just don't want to pont it out to her son,

she saw how his facial expression changed when he said he would remove the bond

My son is really stubborn, she said to herself 

Okay I will come with you, Anna finally said 

"Good" Grey said 

Once I find a way to remove the bond, we will cone back home, Grey said 

 

Anna wanted to point it out to him that he could not break a strong bond,

but she just let the word die in her mouth, if not, her and her son will get into another heated argument, 

He will surely learn to love her" she said to herself

But you know its not easy to leave the demon zone, without anybody noticing

  Anna said after thinking her words through about leaving the demon's zone

 

Demon's don't usually leave the demon zone without the permission of their leader, even when they do, they need to ensure to sneak in without anyone noticing, because if they do you are in big trouble 

Anna being stripped off her powers, it will be very hard for her to sneak out of the demon zone 

 

It would be very hard sneaking myself and my mother out of this place,

if it were only me it would have been easy, Grey said 

But I'm not leaving her here he added 

We will find a way, Grey finally said after weighing his options

" we will"

he added as he connected his gaze to his mother, giving her a reassuring nod.
