Grey closed the door immediately the demon left

What is it Grey? Anna asked seeing her son's expression change after he answered the door

Who was that at the door? Anna asked, seeing her son was still silent

Grey! Anna called again with a worried tone, as she moved closer to her son,

she put her hand on his shoulder, that action seem to pull Grey out of whatever he was thinking

Uncle Beelzebub wants to see me, Grey finally said

Anna did not have the time to question her son before he walked pass her and went straight to his bedroom,

he slam the door shut in anger 

I knew this day will come, Grey mutter angrily as he pace around his room

He stopped pacing suddenly and he look at his reflection in the mirror

 

"Stop being a coward"

 

"Go face your uncle,"

he muttered encouragingly to himself, he took a deep breath as he opened the door to his bedroom, he left and shut the door behind him

Anna's head snapped towards Grey's door immediately she heard it open

I'm going now,

Grey announced making his way towards door, he turned and shoot his mother one last look 

"Don't worry too much"

he said and he left

Anna watched her son leave,  

"why won't I worry"

 Anna said to herself, she was looking very sad because she knows what is going to happen to her son, she sigh as she left for her room

Grey walked down the corridor making his way to his uncle's house,

he was glad no demon try to interact with him, or one of those annoying female demon he would have taken his aggression on them.

When he got to the door of his uncle's house, he stood there for a minute before he finally knocked on the door 

"Come in" 

His uncle's voice rang through the door

Grey took a deep breath before he entered the house

Beelzebub turned to look at Grey, his eye's were hard,

he glared at him as he crossed his hand tightly around his chest

I think I have given you too much freedom, Beelzebub said looking very angry as his eye's flashed red,

his voice was loud and stern

Grey did not say   anything, he just kept his eye's fixed to the ground 

"Kneel"

Beelzebub ordered

Grey did it without any hesitation

"Take off your shirt"

Beelzebub added

Grey did what he was told 

I gave you three days to capture an Angel, and you failed to bring any back, Beelzebub shouted

What were you thinking? Beelzebub asked sneering at Grey

You go out there and come back empty handed, and   you think i would just let you off the hook

because you are best when it comes to capturing Angels, Beelzebub barked

Answer me you idiot, be shouted 

"No master"

Grey said, trying not to show the fear in his voice, because he knows what's coming next

Beelzebub left him there kneeling, he came back few seconds later with a long whip in his hands,

Grey swallowed a gulp down his throat at the sight of the whip

You deserve to be punish for your default, Beelzebub said as he raised the whip

The first whip landed on his back, Grey closed his eye's tight as he absorb the pain of the whip 

Beelzebub continue with his punishment,he continue to whip him without mercy, without the care of the world

 

Grey's back was dripping with blood, the whip has cut deep into his flesh

But Grey remained still, as he take in the pain

"At least today is not as bad as the other days" he said to himself

But he was wrong

Because the last whip that landed on his back, made him scream in pain, as he fell and curl into a ball

Ariel was seated on her bed when a little scream escaped from her lips 

 

Raguel was about to knock on the door when he heard his daughter scream,

he wasted no time in pushing the door open, he was in haste to get to his daughter

When he entered he saw his daughter curled in a ball whimpering,

he could see she was in pain, he sigh and shook his head

"My suspicion was right" he said to himself

Please.... Ariel whimpered

What's happening to you, 

Ariel whispered, 

She was shaking profusely as tears stream down her face

Please make it stop....

Raguel got tired of hearing his daughter's silent plea

He made his way to his daughter and wrapped his hand around her

Ariel hedge closer to her father as she hold him tightly as she continue to cry

It's hurts, she whispers 

Raguel did not say anything as he continue to hold his daughter tightly,

comforting her and whispering soothing things in her ears.

 

Few minutes later, Ariel was calm in her fathers arms 

Who is he? Raguel questioned quietly

Ariel wiped her face quickly and looked at her father

W-what are y-you talking about? Ariel asked quietly as she stuttered

Don't do that, Raguel said shaking his head, don't 

You know exactly what I'm talking about so don't play dumb with me, Raguel added

 

He was not angry at his daughter, but he just want her to say the truth

Ariel was quiet, she avoided her father's gaze as she fidgeted

How am I suppose to the him?Ariel said to herself 

I can't tell him, she said as she shook her head

Raguel sigh softly, not liking his daughter's silence 

You have found your soulmate, right? Raguel asked 

Ariel knew there was no point lying to her father,

she slowly nodded her head

Who is he? Raguel asked again 

This is where the problem was,

"the person involved"

she said to herself,

She raised her head to meet her father's gaze,

she was struggling to say the word, she was not ready for her family to abandon her, 

She opened her mouth, but she shut it real fast,

she was so scare, that she just don't want to hear the rejection in her father's voice 

Raguel could see his daughter struggling 

Please Ariel, just tell me

Ariel took he a deep breath before she finally say the word she was scared to mention 

A d-demon she stuttered

She looked at her father waiting for his response but he was not saying anything

Raguel was shocked, he never expected to hear the word "demon"

Demon's has cause a lot if trouble for him and his family,

no wonder she was looking for a way to break the bond with the demon

Why is my daughter a soulmate to a demon, he said to himself 

Please dad....

please say something

Ariel said as tears stream down her face 

I'm sorry father, I did not mean for any of this to happen she said as she continue crying 

Raguel quickly wrapped his hand around his daughter as he comfort her

Its not your fault,

He said calmly

you don't get to chose

"This is fate"

And there is a good reason for this he added.
