Love-Life of Asante - Episode 21

"I can't believe that Abraham could do this to me. After those wordsof love he professed to me!" Asante lamented as she kept on crying on the laps of Akosua.

"It's okay Asante. Stop crying. Am sure that wasn't is intentions" Akosua said consoling her and trying to stop her from crying further.

In less than one month Asante had fallen in love with two different guys who had claimed they loved her. But the outcome from both seems to be disadvantageous to her.

"Asante! Try to calm down. This is not something you need to necessarily cry about. Try to hear his explanation first please."Adesuwa said trying to be objective about the whole situation at hand.

“Meanwhile don't forget that from what you said you heard them discussed, this had happened before he even started making advances to you. I think you should try to hear him out. He is probably still in love with you" Adesuwa added being the only one looking at the whole issue as it really was. Asante and Akosua were probably just carried away by emotions.

Asante kept on sobbing as she wasn't in the right frame of mind to even understand what Adesuwa was saying.

Just then, there was a knock on the door. With the look on their face, they already concluded that it was Abraham and he had probably come to explain or apologize.However when Adesuwa went to open the door, it was Ayo.

"Hey guys" He said as he waved to Adesuwa and Akosua and then headed straight to Asante.

Pulling her away from Akosua's lap, he said "You need to stop crying Asante

. What you think happened is actually slightly different from what really happened. Just give Abraham a chance to explain things to you. Please" Ayo said hoping his words was gonna make a difference since others had failed.

"What explanation? How does one explain sex with another or the pregnancy? Or do you think am just gonna allow the whole issue slip under the carpet and pretend like nothing ever happened?" Asante said shouting this time around as she kept on sobbing.

With this they knew they were in for a whole lot. She wasn’t gonna listen to anyone. Just then the door opened and they were surprised as Abraham came in unexpectedly. The look on Ayo's face showed that they had come together. Ayo had come in first to see if he can convince Asante while Abraham listened to the discussion from the door.

When Abraham saw that Ayo was making no head way, he decided to come in. Forsaking his ego and pride, he went straight to his knees as he began to appeal to Asante to please forgive him.

"I met her before I could ever meet you. Moreover it was a mistake as I never planned for it. Please forgive me.

. It's you I really love." Abraham said as he began to explain.

Seeing this Asante’s friends could really tell that he truly loved her.

"Asante I think you should listen to him please. He is saying the truth. Please just try to see reasons with him" Ayo said as he joined Abraham in pleading, only that Abraham was still kneeling while Ayo wasn’t.

Asante then cleaned her eyes gently, still sobbing she said "So what would happened to the pregnancy?"

Everyone in the room became confused. Nobody knew exactly what to say. Abraham who was still on his knees was more confused than any of them could ever thought. He had not spoken with Gillian since when he saw her yesterday. He simply had no idea what to do next. He was thus speechless since he had nothing to say.

When Asante saw that no words were forthcoming from his mouth, she shouted, "Go and sort out yourself with her and stay away from my life. Please!" Then she kept on sobbing as she left the room for them all to go to a place where she could comfortably cry out her sorrows and anger without any hindrance.

And so, Asante was having her second break-up. Perhaps she wasn't meant to have a good relationship with anyone, perhaps the fault has always been hers.

Meanwhile Akosua had become hooked up to Asher and Adesuwa to Ayo while Asante had now become single once again. The table seems to have now turned against her.
