My Mistake - Episode 23

"Why can't you just understand that our relationship won't work? It won't work Abdallah. I am a divorcee, it won't work!"

"Why? Is a divorcée not a woman? Isn't she supposed to be loved? Be cared for? What's with you being a divorcee and i not? It doesn't make sense Aysha___you know i love you and i seriously don't give a damn about you being a divorcee. I love you all the same."

They were both seated in their Aysha's visiting room. Ever since Abdallah came into her life two months back, she had been confused, wondering if she should give love another chance or not. She knew she was beginning to like Abdallah and that scares the shit out of her. She doesn't deserve anybody's love___that was her thought.

"You're just trying to use it as an excuse. You and i both know it doesn't matter, just say yes and I'll talk to my parents about it. Please."

Aysha's head was ducked down. She'd be lying if she said she's not feeling anything towards Abdallah. But she'll also be lying if she said she had stopped loving Fadeel. No she hasn't___not when he's trying to win her back.

"I don't know Abdallah, but I'm seriously having second thoughts on this. I'm scared."

"I'm not saying you shouldn't be scared. I'm also not promising you a happy married life without challenges. I am not perfect Aysha, neither are you. But i want you to know that i love you and nothing but you___be you a divorcée or not, it doesn't really mean a thing to me."

Aysha looked up at him and knew she was lucky having a man like him. But is he worth the try? She wondered.

"I'll think about it and give you an answer in two days time."

"Sure. I won't pressure you, I'll wait. Just know that i don't really have all the time in the world for that."

Fadeel stared at the empty food warmer in front of him. What is wrong with Amirah? Can't she cook for him as her husband? This, this was one of the reasons he regrets ever letting Aysha go___Amirah isn't worth it.

It was after Aysha left that he realized how bad he had fallen for her over time. But it was already too late, but not too late to get her back. Amirah is making his life a living hell, she doesn't respect him, neither does she care for his needs. Above all, she's still not pregnant after the miscarriage. He definitely needs his Aysha back!

Dialing her number, he waited for a while hoping silently that she'd pick the call. He was already loosing hope when he finally heard the click sound of her receiving the call.

"Hello" she mumbled, clearly annoyed.

"Do i disgust you that much?" Fadeel asked sadly, his heart breaking at the sound of her cold voice. Will she ever forgive him?

"Huh?" Aysha said a little bit uncomfortable "i never said so" she replied in a soft voice.

Fadeel closed his eyes savoring her sweet voice in his mind. Damn! He can do anything to get this woman back!

"I love you, please find it in your heart to forgive me and come back dear, please."

Everytime he said those three words, he heart melts. Why does it have to be now? Why didn't he shower her all this love when she was his? Why now when she's trying to get over him? Why? Why?

"You there?" He asked noticing how silent she was.

"Yeah. Just overwhelmed" she replied.

"You still love me Aysha, i know you do. Please, just come back and let's leave happily like you've always dreamt of, please."

"And how sure are you i still love you?" She asked clearly annoyed.

"You can't stop loving me, there's no way you can do that. I'm in resistable, just accept the fact you still love me and let's move on."

Damn this cocky bastard!

"Fadeel!' She heard Amirah's voice through the phone "don't tell me you're still talking to that w-ore? I'll casterate you alive than watch you marry her again Fadeel, over my dead body!"

Aysha chuckled, this would really be fun, Fadeel and Amirah fighting? Life is surely funny.

"Listen here you b-ch" she heard Amirah's angry voice "You either leave my husband or i swear I'll make your life a living hell."

"Owh really best friend?" Aysha sneered "and how are you going to do that?"

"I'd rather kill you than watch you get back into this house as Fadeel's wife again Aysha."

"Watch what you say woman" she heard Fadeel say struggling to get back his phone.

"We'll see about that when i come back as his wife my dear. We'll see."

Now the big question, should she go back to Fadeel just make Amirah go through what she did or should she marry Abdallah? Confusion is an understatement of what she feels that moment. Is Fadeel really worth the risk again?
