My Mistake - Episode 22

Fadeel must really be out of his mind! Aysha thought angrily.

"What. do. you. want?" She asked, clenching her fist angrily.

Fadeel sighed before replying "I just missed You Aysha. You haven't been receiving my calls nor replying my texts. Had to buy another sim to try. How have you been?"

"How I've been shouldn't be a concern of yours Fadeel___i can take care of myself all alone, been doing that already for a while now!" She snapped, making the man sitting beside her flinch a little. Glancing his way, Aysha gave an apologetic smile before leaving and standing beside the window where he couldn't hear her. "Besides, you and i have nothing to discuss with each other__so please, let me be!"

"Why are you acting so tough right now? Weren't you the same girl throwing herself at me just so that she could gain my love? Weren't you the same girl who had loved and still loved me? Weren't you the same girl who still stayed by my side even after i married her best friend?" He chuckled softly, and the deep timber voice Aysha once loved sounded like a whiney mouse to her ears. "Don't tell me a love like that just vanished into thim air because i made just a 'simple' mistake, okay maybe not that simple but still simple and i know you still do l_____"

"Shut up Fadeel!" Aysha yelled breathing so hard "just shut up, shut up!" She added, trying to calm herself down. If it was in an animated film, she was sure smoke would have been coming out of her ears

"The worst mistake I've ever made was loving you, and believe it or not Fadeel, I've already gotten over you" she said the last part in a whisper, knowing deep inside that she was lying and hated her self for still loving a man like him, how stupid! "I'm happy without you in my life and i don't need you to interrupt it, let me be and be with Amirah, that woman you've always choosed above me. Thank you."

"Wait!" He said desperately knowing that she was about hanging up "Aysha come back to me please, we can make it work, trust me."

As she opened her mouth to reply, she inhaled a heart soothing cologne that had been in the room ever since Muhammad and his friend stepped in. Turning swiftly, she lucked eyes with the mysterious man again for the third time and she could swear her heart missed a beat.

"Let's go eat Habibaty, our food is getting cold already" she knew Fadeel could hear him cause the man raised his voice a little bit so Fadeel could hear. Aysha was confused at the beginning but later understood where he was heading to, she smiled great fully at him before replying "Sure Habibi, let's go__am already starving." She then clicked off the phone and smiled at him.

"Thank you" she said slowly averting her gaze as she made her way to the dining table.

He shook his head and smiled. You're so whipped Abdallah! He mattered to himself. Ever since he saw her picture in their Fa'izah's wedding album three months back, Abdallah hasn't been able to get her out of his system. He knew it was love at first sight, and after hearing her story from Fa'izah, his love for her increased and he promised to make her his!

It doesn't matter if she eas a divorcée or if she was once married, it also doesn't matter that he has never married and only took the interest in doing so after coming across her picture. He loves her and nothing but her, and he'll try to make her his.

Lunch was silent as Aysha was still angry and sad, Fa'izah acted cool like she didn't over hear her talking to her brother.

. Its high time Aysha becomes happy and she knew only Abdallah could help make that work. After lunch, Aysha decided to leave claiming she needs to help her mom. Abdallah offered to drop her home, unfortunately for him____she came with a car.

He still won't let her go and he drove after her, hoping she'll spare him some of her time and listen to him.

Parking outside their gate, Aysha stepped out of the car and faced Abdallah's car. What is wrong  with this man? Why the heck is he trying to get onto her nerves? Why?

"You look even more beautiful when you're angry Habibaty (My love in Arabic)."

"Don't call me that!" She snapped "what do you want mister?"

"Your heart" came his reply without any hesitation "I want nothing but your heart beautiful."

"My heart?" Aysha asked a bitter laugh escaping her lips. Is this man even sane? He wants her heart? Does he think she's as stupid and naive as she was before? He must be high on something!

"Do i look like a desperate young girl yearning for love?" She spat. 'Yes' her consciousness answered her 'you're a desperate naive girl still yewrning for Fadeel's love'

"Look, can you please calm down and let us talk like matured people?"

"I have not......" The loud screeching of tyres stopped her from completing her words. Looking at the car, Fadeel suddenly hooped out angrily as he sent glares her way. She quickly turned towards Abdallah and smiled before quickly blurting out "I can't wait to also be your wife Habibi, i love you more than anything I've ever thought I've loved."

Oh! So she wants to play a game, Abdallah thought and smiled.

"You'll be mine in three months Habibaty, that is a promise I'm gonna keep, trust me." And as he said those words, Aysha knew he was silently promising her not just pretending. 

"Escort me inside please" she said as she closed the car and acting like Fadeel wasn't standing few feets away from them and listening to them.

As soon as they were out of Fadeel's hearing range, Aysha turned and glared at the man before saying "don't push my limits dude. I'm not interested."

"Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are?" He asked ignoring her warning "well, you're so very beautiful Aysha and I'll make you mine" he added smirking before moving very close to her "The name is Abdallah Habibatyy, I'll call you later and please don't ask how i got your contact. Goodbye beautiful." And he left, leaving behind his hearth soothing cologne. Aysha inhaled deeply before glaring at Fadeel and closing the gate right at his approaching gaze.

The nerve of that fool!
