She looked at me and smiled

"Don't worry, sweet heart I have no bad intentions"

I looked at her with awe

She picked up her phone immediately to answer her phone call

She turned towards me with a mischievous smile
"By the way go and prepare for tonight cus tonight is going to be hot" 

She winked towards me, making it difficult for me to stay mad at her

I rolled my eyes and just gave my short reply

"What ever" stretching myself very well on the bed

I looked at my bestie who ignored me since our struggle over what to wear for the party.

I am uncomfortable with the silence

"You know your face will wrinkle with a lot of frowning"

She looked at me refusing to smile or talk

"Lizzy, talk to me now please"

"Okay, Bring the cloth let me check it out"

I said to appease her

She shouted and jumped happily, matched to the wardrobe and brought out one skimpy gown and shoved it towards me

I turned the gown over but it is way out of my league, I don't wear that sort of cloths. It will reveal so much cleavage and will make me uncomfortable

. It is too short"

I refused to wear the gown and frowned my face to show her how serious I am

She continued bringing out more skimpy gowns and I refused them all.

After much struggle and debate, we settled on one red off shoulder gown.

Its not too long or too short.

Its perfect and hugged my body perfectly well bringing out my God given shape

I wore the cloth happily and we settled for her to make me up

"Yea, I am done"
Look at yourself in the mirror" she said pushing me to stand in front of the mirror

"What do you think"

"OMG, I can't even recognize myself. The make over was lit"

The way she packed my hair into bun, the nude lipstick and makeup which is crowned with the jewelry she used to adorn my neck that matched my hot red off shoulder gown.

I am just like a princess

I hugged her happily because I am super beautiful and excited.

"Thanks bestie, I am very grateful "

"You are welcome love, can you now not ruin your make-up and let me prepare myself"

She said and pulled herself away from me and rushed to the bathroom.

I gave her a small tap at the back and turned to admire myself more

Her phone blinked while she is in the bathroom showing that a message just came in.

I wanted to shout and tell her about the mesaaged but am kinda curious to read the message.

I slid the phone open ignoring the self constraints and read the message which says

"Remember to meet me behind the Bar by 11:00pm"

I couldn't even phantom what the message was saying.

Who is meeting who and who will meet her.

I checked the sender and it was saved with "K".

I was still curios about the message when she snatched the phone from me with an emotionless face

"Arrggghhhhh, you scared me, I didn't even know when you came out of the bathroom"

She just looked at me clutching her phone tightly as if I will collect it from her.

"Next time don't snoop around my phone without my permission" do you hear me.

"Yes mah, I heard you. No need of shouting"

I answered controlling the quest in me to ask her who was that.

I concluded within me that it might be one random guy she just met

She got ready in thirty minutes, in fact she amazed me by how fast she is.

I looked at her in admiration, she is a paragon of beauty.

I know I am pretty but she is damm hot.

"Can we go now"

She said and dragged me off the mirror straight to the car.

I made to enter the drivers seat and she stopped me

She stretched out her hands towards me

"I am going to drive, so give me the key. Besides it's my treat and your birthday"

I refused but she insisted

Did I mention how stubborn she is and can pin on something until her will is done.

I gave her the key without arguing because most of the night have been filled with argument.

"Thank you, now enter the car and allow me to spoil you silly"

She rolled her eyes and pushed me inside the car with pouted mouth showing that she is up to something mischievous.

I laughed knowing that whatever it is I am ready for tonight.
