DEMON'S FATE ( BOOK 2) - Episode 8

The next day, Ariel woke up feeling a bit cold, she knows it's not because of the weather but it was because of someone

"The demon" she whispered

It's been two days since she last saw him and it feels like it has been a long time,

during those days she tried not to think about him, but she failed miserably,

because every time her mind always drift to him, always wondering what he was up to.

She stood up from her bed, she took a quick shower and made her way downstairs

She saw her parents cuddling on the couch, she saw her father whispering things to her mother, which made her laugh, she smile at their closeness,

"They are so in love" she said to herself

I can't even have that she said as she shook her head,

she forced a smile on her face before she entered the living room.

Good morning everyone she said with a smile on her face

Good morning, both her parents replied her marching the smile on her face

She sat down on the couch watching the show on television, before she saw a bright light

her grandfather Samael landed in the living with her grandmother Maria in his hand

Though, Samael and Maria were not soulmate, they both still look so in love with each other,

Ariel admire their relationship so much

Both her grandparents sat down, and she saw as her grandfather wasted no time in pulling her grandmother close,

he wrapped his hands tightly around her, that made Ariel to look away, because she knows that can never happen with her.

Maybe if I find a way to remove the bond I share with the demon,

I can have a beautiful relationship like that, I just hope there is a way she whispered feeling so down already.

From the corner of Raguel's eyes, he watched his daughter sad expression,

he was trying to make his stare discreet, so as not to draw attention to his daughter, especially from her mother,

he does not want his wife to worry about their daughter,

because he knows Elena very well, once she finds out something is going on with her daughter, she won't rest until she finds out what's going on.

The last thing Ariel needs right now, is someone to persuade her into saying what she's not ready for.

He sighed softly as he averted his eyes from his daughter and concentrated on his soulmate,

Raphael and Michael finally made an appearance in the living room,

they both left the house early in the morning to strech their wings Since Angels don't sleep,

just pure Angels though, but half Angels like Ariel and her mother Elena needs sleep since their body don't refresh itself

The whole family was now seated in the living room watching the show on the screen,

immediately the credit was shown, Elena got up but not after placing a soft kiss on her husband's lips

Alright let's go make breakfast, Elena said as she pull her daughter up alongside her mother,

the three of them made their way to the kitchen to prepare breakfast,

when making the breakfast they talked about random things and laugh about it,

The breakfast was served and the family eat in silence while enjoying their meal, after breakfast, Ariel washed the dishes and went straight to meet her uncle

Hey, Michael said immediately Ariel came into view

Hey, Ariel replied as she sat next to her uncle

Michael looked at her and he could tell there is something up with her,

she was not in her usual chatting mood, she looks unhappy

Is everything alright? Michael asked with concern in his voice

Ariel nooded her in response as she remained silent

Michael did not say anything to her, he does not really know the right word to say,

he was not really good with words, but he was good at listening, so he just waited for Ariel to break the silence between them.

They were both seated in silence until Ariel took in a deep breath before she spoke

Do you know anything about soulmate bond? She asked

Michael looked at her, he was wondering why she asked him about soulmate bond,

he was not the right person for the question, he does not have a soulmate and he has never experience a soulmate bond before,

Michael wonder why Ariel did not ask her parents,

he looked up to the direction of Raguel, he had his hands wrapped around his soulmate

Raguel would know better he said quietly to himself

What do you want to know about soulmate bond? Michael finally asked,

He knows about soulmate bond because he was taught about it when he was in heaven,

he knew soulmate bond is very special, but he knows he will never get to experience it,

he quickly shook his head, I don't want to think about that right now, he waited for Ariel to answer his question

Ariel opened her mouth to ask her question, but she shut it back,

she does not know how to word her question, she did not really want her uncle to see it the wrong way or suspect anything either

That's was the main reason she refuse to ask her father the question, because she knows he will figure it out

Do you know if a soulmate bond can be broken? Ariel asked quietly

Michael jerked his head towards Ariel immediately she asked the question,

he gave her a skeptical look, he was silent for a minute before he spoke

He cleared his throat to get Ariel's attention because her mind seems lost

Ariel turned to look at her uncle

I don't think a soulmate bond can be broken, Michael said quietly, especially if the bond between the soulmate is a strong one Michael added

Ariel nodded her head in understanding, she was not able to form any word form her mouth

Everything is changing fast

She knows the bond she share with the demon is a strong one

She sigh softly

"Thank you" she said

Ariel stood up without any other word as she left for her bedroom, Michael just watched her leave,

I wonder why she asked that question, she really seem off, now I can understand why Raguel is worried about her

He sigh as he shook his he looked up and his gaze connect with Raguel

Raguel motioned for him to go outside, Michael nodded his head and made his way outside

Raguel whispered something to Elena before he left the living room, and made his way outside to meet with Michael.

When Raguel came outside he saw Michael seated at a corner,

immediately Michael saw Raguel has come out, he stood up waiting for his friend to speak

I know my daughter confidently talk to you about something, but I really need to know what she said to you

Am really worried about her, Raguel whisper

Michael nodded his head in understanding, he could see the worried look on his friend's face, and he knows he needed to tell him what they talked about

She wants to know how to break a soulmate bond, Michael said quietly

Immediately Michael said the word, Raguel's eye's widen in shock he was totally surprised

Why does she want to know? Raguel asked

Michael shrugged, I have no idea he said

Raguel paced around looking so confused,

"Why would she ask such question" Raguel said quietly

Michael placed his hand on Raguel's shoulder, he gave it a little squeeze making Raguel stopped pacing around

I know its naturally for you to worry about your daughter, Michael said softly but I need you to stay clam,

we have to think this through, Michael added making Raguel nod his head
