DEMON'S FATE ( BOOK 2) - Episode 6

Grey stood up from his bed, he glanced around his room before he made his way to the bathroom,

he looked at his reflection in the mirror, he was looking a bit pale,

he shook his head as the event of yesterday played in his head,

he could not really believe that all the things that happened was real,

its just feels like a dream.
 

"I wonder what she's up to" Grey suddenly blurted out

Why do I even care, Grey said suddenly realizing what he  had just said

she can jump into the ocean and drowned, and I won't care, Grey muttered angrily,

he knows he not telling the truth about not caring, but right now he will say anything just to make him feel better.

He took a quick shower and exist the bathroom looking less exhausted, yesterday event really took a toll on him.

 

He made his way to the living room, he glanced to his left when he heard footstep, his mother suddenly made an appearance

Good morning son, Anna said with a gentle smile

Grey knows what that smile of his mother means and he was not he in the mood to talk

Good morning, Grey responded as he took his seat,

he refused to look at his mother, hoping she will get the hint that he does not want to talk

But of course.....

Grey are you alright? Anna asked with great concern in her voice

I'm fine Grey grumbled

Anna sighed softly, she saw the way he son looked angry yesterday and she could tell that something was up with her son

 

You are not fine son, Anna said after few minutes of silence between them,

I saw the way you looked yesterday she added

Grey ignored her, and continue to stare at nothing 

What happened yesterday? Anna asked

A certain face pooped into his mind, he shook his head to get it out,

" I cannot think about her" he whispered to himself

"Nothing"

Grey finally responded to his mother's question

Don't tell me nothing Grey, Anna said rasing her voice a little 

You should have seen the way you looked so stressed yesterday, and yet you say nothing happen

Even though something happened yesterday, I won't tell you anything,

its not like you tell me things anyway why do you expect to say what is bothering me Grey snapped 

Grey you won't understand, his mother replied him,

but I'm your mother, and I deserve to know what us going on with my son, Anna said she was on the verge of tearing up

Grey sighed softly, he was in no mood for this, he got up and made his way to the door without saying anything to his mother 

Grey......

Anna heard the slam of the door, and a tear fell from her eyes 

"I wish I can really tell you" she said in a whisper 

It will get better son, it will, Anna said as she wiped the tears from her and left for her bedroom

 

Grey walked down the corridor not having anywhere in particular to go,

he heard some Angels scream when he walked pass, but this time it felt "different"

What if one if these Angel was her, he said to himself not able to use the word

"soulmate"
 

he shivered at the thought of  her being tortured like that,

he shook his head, this thing is really getting out of hand, I really need to do something about it,

I can't live like this he whispered 

People will soon find out I share my soul with another, and not just anyone but an Angel,

it will cause a big disaster.

Grey find a spot to sit down, he was wondering what he was going to do about the things happening

But his quietness and thoughts was disturbed by his brother's voice,

he could hear his brother talking with someone, he just hope his brother would just ignore him even this one time time 

But of course its not going to happen

Hey, josh said as he came into view,

he stood in front of Grey as he crossed his hand looking at Grey intensively, 

Grey actually felt a bit uncomfortable by his brother stare,

if it were to be any other day, he won't look fazed, but sharing his soul with another made him a little self conscious

What if he can see it? Grey asked himself 

Why are you sitting here? Josh asked 

Its none of your business, Grey said confidently after he was sure his brother did not notice anything different

Your hand is looking better, josh said as he motioned to Grey's hand,

Grey ignored him and act as if his brother was not even there,

he needed space to think and his brother was intruding

I wonder what uncle Beelzebub saw in you, josh said looking at Grey in a despicable manner,

you are not even a legitimate son, josh spat, 

Grey was very angry, he hates it when josh always reminds him that his mother was not the soulmate to his father, 

Did I hit a nerve? Josh said looking at the anger in Grey's face

He laughed softly,

 

your mother is good for nothing, she just crawl into my father's bed trying to take the place of my mother,

she was not even decent enough to leave other people's soulmate alone, and look for hers,

Am sure she must be sleeping with uncle Beelzebub

That was how far josh could go, before a punch landed on his face,

 

Grey could not sit there and watched his mother being insulted,

he can take josh's insult on him, but when it comes to his mother, he just crossed the line.

Grey punched josh very hard on the face, 

NEVER TALK ABOUT MY MOTHER LIKE THAT, 

Grey shouted as he punched josh one last time,  before he stood up, and watched josh helpless body on the ground before he left.

Grey marched angrily as he made his way home, 

Hey Grey, Erna began to say but stopped immediately

If you say one word out of your mouth, I will choked you to death,

Grey said as he eyes flashes red

Erna gave him space quickly and she turned the other way and hurried out if his sight 

Grey got home, and went straight into his room, slamming the door shut.

Ariel has being in her room all day, she refused to go downstairs even to have her breakfast,

she was looking so down, about everything that was happening,

she wanted to go back to the field to see if the demon showed up,

but she knew he wasn't there, she did not know how she could tell, but she just knew.

She sigh softly as she stood up from her bed, she went straigh for her window as she glance outside.

"I wonder what he is doing right now" she thought to herself,

she could feel her heart racing just thinking about him, 

"This is so messed up" she whisper to herself

He could be killing Angels for all I know, Ariel muttered, and the thought of him killing Angels did not really settle well with her

I just hope that demon find a solution to all this she said,

I can't keep living like this, she added 

Its really killing me to lie to my parents, this demon is causing a lot of trouble for me, she muttered angrily.

She walked to her bathroom and shut the door, she strip herself as she turn on the water,

she enjoyed the cold water on her skin, the water really seem to help distract her from her current problems.

 

Few minutes later, she came out of the shower looking fresh and a little relaxed,

she was contemplating about going downstairs, but she just don't want to see the look of disappointment on her father's face.

She sat down on her bed looking up at her ceiling,

she sigh softly,

when is this going to end she said in a whisper

Raguel was sitting in the living room with his father, Raphael and Samael 

Elena went out with her mother for grocery shopping, while Michael was out doing his own thing 

She has refuse to come downstairs since morning, Raguel said looking at his father and Samael with worried expression on his face

I don't know why she is refusing to talk to me, Raguel said slightly shaking his head 

I really don't know why, Raphael said, but I think she will come around he said as he patted his son's shoulder 

When, Raguel whispered,

Soon son, Samael replied with a tiny smile in his face,

why don't you go talk to her upstairs, and make sure she comes downstairs with you,

she really need to eat something Samael added

Raphael nods his head in agreement,

I know you don't want your wife to be worried about Ariel for skipping her meals, Raphael said with a smile 

Come on son, go bring your daughter downstairs,

Raphael said urging Raguel to stand up, Raguel finally stood up and head for his daughter's room.

Ariel was still staring at her ceiling when she heard a knock on her head, 

Come in she said

Raguel entered and close the behind him, 

How are you feeling? Raguel asked 

Ariel was surprised by his question, she thought her father would persuade her to tell him what was going on

I'm fine, Ariel responded 

Come on let's go downstairs so you can eat something, Raguel said with a smile 

Ariel was surprised,

Aren't you going to ask me what happened yesterday, Ariel said quietly 

Raguel smiled at his daughter,

you will tell me when you are ready he said as he ushered his daughter out of the room,

but before they made it downstairs, Ariel grabbed hold of her father 

Thank you for understanding, she said with a smile

Raguel nodded his head

They made it downstairs, she sat and eat her meal and both her mother and grandmother returned from grocery shopping,

they all discussed and laughed as a family 

Ariel was very thankful that she has an understanding family.
